More and more evidences show that college rankings have great impact on the decision- making and strategy personnel recruitment and organizational structures resource distribution and fundraising student choices and admissions educational quality of higher education institutions. Because of the passive impacts of college rankings on higher education institutions something must be done to improve the scientificity and rationality of college rankings.
