1 ios Device AirPlay set up To use the AirPlay feature, Zeppelin Air must be connected to your existing home network (from now on referred to as your home network ). The following procedure will give you a step-by-step guide to set up the AirPlay feature. This is accomplished by accessing the Zeppelin Air setup page using your touch, iphone or ipad device. Once accessed you can then name your Zeppelin Air device and allocate the home network to be used to provide the connection. Before you start please ensure You have the latest version of firmware installed on your ios device. You know the name of your existing home wireless network and any passwords (also referred to as network key, access code or phrase key ) required to access it. You have saved data and closed other apps. Your Wi-Fi access point (your hub or router) is functioning. If anything goes wrong during this process please follow the reset instructions at the end of this guide and try again. Additional information can be found on the support pages of the Bowers & Wilkins website - Ensure your touch, iphone or ipad is not docked when starting this process. Unplug every cable from Zeppelin Air, including the power cable. Connect only your power cable. Zeppelin Air will switch on in standby mode with its indicator showing dim red. ETHERNET

2 Press the power button once. The indicator will flash purple. Wait until the indicator starts to flash yellow (could be up to 60 seconds). This indicates that the Zeppelin Air device is in temporary wireless network mode and can be identified within your wireless connections. 60s Access your touch s, iphone s or ipad s Wi-Fi connections within the menu. Airplane Mode OFF Wi-Fi Notifications On Sound Select the Zeppelin Air Setup XXX network. This will disconnect the touch, iphone ipad from the existing network and then connect to the Zeppelin Air. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi Networks ON Choose a Network... Zeppelin Air Setup XXX Open the Safari browser on your touch, iphone or ipad. In the address bar of Safari type and press Go. The Zeppelin Air setup page will open, you may need to zoom on the page to see clearly Zeppelin Air Wireless Configuration Change Current Zeppelin Air Wireless Zeppelin Air Name:

3 Rename the Zeppelin Air and press Apply Now. Press OK to confirm the new setting and return to the setup page. Zeppelin Air Wireless Configuration Change Current New settings were successfully applied. OK Press Select option and choose your home network. Select option Another Network Another Network Carefully type the password to your home network and press Join. Press OK to save the setting. The light on the Zeppelin Air should now be solid purple. Join Warning: Incorrect parameters may cause undesired behaviour. To save the new settings, click OK.

4 Return to the Wi-Fi connection within the setup menu and reselect your home network. Airplane Mode OFF Wi-Fi Wi-Fi Networks ON Wi-Fi Notifications On Sound Choose a Network... Zeppelin Air Setup XXX Enter your touch, iphone or ipad music library and select a song. You will notice that there is an additional icon (device icon) next to the next song button. Reduce the touch, iphone or ipad volume and press the device icon, select your Zeppelin Air and slowly increase the volume. You should be streaming music from your touch, iphone or ipad to the Zeppelin Air. iphone Kitchen Zeppelin Air Cancel

5 When you open itunes on your Mac / PC you will see the same icon in the right bottom corner. Select the Zeppelin Air speaker to stream you computer s itunes library to Zeppelin Air. If anything goes wrong at any stage during this process, you can start again by resetting the Zeppelin Air. To do this, use a paper clip, or similar small point, to press the reset button located on the back of the device between the USB and Ethernet ports. Hold the button down until the indicator changes to a dim red colour. The Zeppelin Air needs to be powered on for at least one minute before it will reset.
