3 Getting Started 1) POEMS 2.0 is best viewed in Internet Explorer 9 and above, Mozilla Firefox 14 and above, Google Chrome. Type in URL www20.poems.com.sg Login using your POEMS Account number and POEMS Password. 3

4 Check Compatibility The Check Compatibility box is important especially for first time login. It helps to check the user s system and show what should be enabled in order to maximize the performance for POEMS 2.0. Click the button to do a compatibility check on your system Sample of a Compatibility Check Box Further instructions will be shown in the Compatibility Check box to assist user. 4

5 Other than the Compatibility Check button, a message will also be shown at the login page if there is a need to enable any function. 2) Once login successfully, you will be directed to the Trade (LP2) page. 3) There is also a +New Tab which can be used to create your own customized Tabs. 4) A maximum of 20 Tabs can be created per account. 5

6 Announcement a) Attention This module will show POEMS announcements b) POEMS Announcement This module displays the announcement for only POEMS 2.0 6

7 c) Exchange Rate This module displays the exchange rate for various currencies, contract settlement and online currency conversion. d) Bonus/Dividend This module displays the list of Bonus and Dividends currently available for the counters. 7

8 e) IPO This module displays the Initial Public Offering for a particular counter. f) New Counters This module displays the new counters that have been added to the respective market. 8

9 Acct Mgmt Acct Mgmt Tab consists of all the information related to your account with respect to money. a) Outstanding Position Displays the current outstanding position of your stocks and trades. b) Account Details Displays the entire account details of the client for example the Client Account name, Client Account Number, available cash, credit limit, list of funds, etc 9

10 c) Scrip Positions Displays the Scrip Positions. d) Scrap Book Displays the Scrap book containing clients details such as Scrap Book view, Unrealised Profit & Realised Profit along with Edit, Help and Disclaimer options. 10

11 e) Calculator To calculate the cost or P & L of SGX market or foreign market that you want to Buy or Sell. g) This Month Transaction Displays current month s Transactions 11

12 h) Transaction History Displays the entire Transaction history up to 12 months i) Settled Positions Displays the settled positions for Current and Previous months. 12

13 j) Cash Dividends Select to display the list of records that has been processed in the past till date, which includes the Date, Company name, Quantity, Payment currency and the Amount. k) Extended Settlement Shows the summary, outstanding position and the collateral movement for the ES transactions. 13

14 l) List of Marginal Stocks Displays the Margin list stocks (This is for Margin Account) m) Online forms You can use the online forms to perform withdrawal, conversion and excess fund authorization 14

15 n) CAR & CKA Form In light of the new requirements introduced by MAS, retails customers who wish to trade Specified Investment Product (SIP) are required to take the CAR & CKA Form. This is to ensure that retails customers have the relevant knowledge or experience to understand the risks and features of the SIPs before investing. o) RWS Acknowledgement Effective 28 th Feb 2013, In light of the new requirements introduced by MAS, retails customers are required to acknowledge the Risk Warning Statement (RWS) in order to trade overseas-listed investment products. 15

16 p) 2FA OneKey Clients can register for 2FA OneKey if they have yet to do so. Once they have received the 2FA device, they are able to make the linkage under this module. 16

17 Order Status The Order Status displays Today s Orders, Past Orders and Synthetic Orders Under Today s Order, it will show All Orders, Working Orders, Trade Done and Rejected/Withdrawn Under Past Orders, it will display the past 7 days orders. Under Synthetic Orders, it will display the orders submitted through ProTrader a) How to withdraw/amend orders? 17

19 Prices (LP1) The Prices (LP1) displays the live prices of all markets. d) How to get Streaming/Static Prices? 19

20 e) Add Counters to Watchlist There are a total of 5 default watchlist. Each watchlist can have 20 global counters. The watchlist is synchronized with the POEMS Mobile and ipad. There are two ways to add counters to your watchlist First method Second Method 20

21 To Rename Watchlist Go to your Watchlist drop down list as shown below. To manual sort your counters in the watchlist f) Using Global Search for Counters 21

22 g) Using the Advance Search Function The Global search option is available at different pages such as Prices (LP1), Trade (LP2) and Chart. 22

23 h) Organizing Columns at the View Price Widget Right click on the Column Header. A sub menu will show a list of Column names Check to Select the Column To remove the Column, Uncheck the Checkbox To Interchanging Columns Click and drag the header to your desired column. 23

25 Trade (LP2) The Trade (LP2) Tab allows you to view the Live Prices, Trade, check Order Status and View the News, just like the LP2 page in POEMS. a) Layout for widgets 25

26 b) How to Trade? There are many ways to Quick Trading. I) Trade using Trade (LP2) Tab Click once on any of the counters in the View Price widget. The Last Done Price will show at the Limit Price box at the Trade widget. You can also click either Buy Or Sell Price to show at the Limit Price box. Alternatively, use the Scroll Bar to select the Limit Price and number of shares or Manually Key in. The Gross value is auto-calculated based on the selection. Click on BUY or SELL. A Password Box will appear. Key in your Password Once password is given, click Confirm and the order will be submitted. II) Trade using RIGHT CLICK Right Click on any of the counters at the View Price widget, in Research widget or even Stock Sceener. A sub menu will appear. Select Trade <Counter Symbol>. A TRADE BOX will appear. 26

27 III) Trade using the orange Trade button at the top right corner of the page Click on the Trade button at the top right corner of the page. This triggers the Trade box pop up and allows the user to trade anytime from anywhere in POEMS 2.0 c) The Order Status Once you have submitted an order, a pop up message will appear Select View Order Status and it will direct you to the Order Status page (full view) Select Close and the pop up message will close. You can still view your order status at LP2. 27

28 Chart Chart Tab displays the same kind of Chart that is in Poems 1. (Enhancement on Chart will be added in the future) Stock Analytics Displays the Stock Analytics with free comprehensive coverage on 9 exchanges and more than 15,000 counters. You will find Essential Stock Fundamentals Business Summary Summarized Financial Data Updated Company News Headlines from Dow Jones Links to Company s Financial Statements/Investor Relations Historical Chart 28

29 Research Research Tab displays 2 sections Research Report and News. The Research report section displays the research details for Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, US, Regional Market Focus and Subscription. The News section displays the Headlines, Equity News, Economic News, Analyst Ratings, Dividend News and Hot Stocks. Fundamentals The Fundamentals Tab displays 2 sections Company Info and Stock Screener. The Company Info section displays the Fundamental Data on corporate information, background and financial ratios of all listed companies. The Stock screener section displays the information of the stocks based upon the filtering criteria set. 29

30 +New Tab Apart from the 9 default Tabs; there is another Tab named +New. This Tab allows you to add new Tab or Widget. a) Creating Tabs Click It will show the Tab page. 32 c) Editing a Tab Settings The Settings link is on the top right side of the page. Click to show the below function under Settings. a) My Account Displaying the Client s My Account on Update Particulars, E-statement Particulars, RWS (Risk Warning Statement), SIP (Specified Investment Product) Status and SRS Particulars. 32
