Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meals as you travel to start your vacation. ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING Land in London and after you disembark, pass through customs and immigration checks at the airport. Your CIE Tours driver and local guide will welcome you to London and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, embark on a panoramic tour of London. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to do some shopping or further sightseeing on your own. After your sightseeing, check into tour hotel. In the evening join your group for dinner in the hotel restaurant. DINNER & OVERNIGHT: COPTHORNE TARA HOTEL, OXFORD WALKING TOUR & SHAKESPEARE S BIRTHPLACE This morning travel to the beautiful university town of Oxford. Enjoy a walking tour to see some of the famous colleges such as Christchurch, whose chapel is the Cathedral of Oxford; Merton, one of the oldest; Magdalene, probably the most beautiful; New College, over 500 years old with its lovely gardens. Continue on your way to Stratfordupon-Avon, home of the great playwright, William Shakespeare. It is a lovely old riverside town, rich in half-timbered Tudor houses and memories of the great playwright. Enjoy lunch (3 course set menu chosen in advance, no drinks) with your group then visit Shakespeare s Birthplace, two houses which show the lifestyle of his times and some of his writings. Then visit Anne Hathaway s Cottage, a substantial farmhouse where Shakespeare s wife lived before their marriage. Return to your hotel for a free evening and an overnight stay.

4 Tue, Sep 27 Wed, Sep 28 THAMES CRUISE & GLOBE THEATRE Today, use your travel card as transportation to the sights. Your local guide will accompany you today beginning with a Thames cruise from Tower pier to Greenwich. Upon arrival embark on walking tour of the town. Travel on the Docklands Light Railway and Tube to return to London. Stop to visit Shakespeare s Globe Exhibit, a memorial for one of the greatest playwrights in the world, who lived and worked in London. Opened in 2000, the center focuses on Shakespeare and his workplace including a guided tour of the Globe Theatre, where visitors may be able to witness a rehearsal during theater season. The exhibit has several displays focusing on the actor, audience and architecture of Shakespeare s plays and playhouses. Next enjoy dinner at a local venue near the Globe Theater (set 3 course menu chosen in advance, no drinks) with your fellow travelers. After dinner enjoy a performance at the Globe Theatre. Return to the hotel using your travelcards. SIGHTSEEING & BRITISH MUSEUM This morning take a guided tour of London s best-known landmarks to include the West End, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. Drive by the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and St. Paul s Cathedral. Continue on to visit the British Museum, which was created to showcase human culture and history or the Churchill War Rooms, which were in use during the World War II. Next, visit the London Museum before returning to your hotel for a free evening.

Continue on to visit The View from The Shard., London's highest viewing platform at the top of Western Europe's tallest building. This is the only place to experience over 1,000 years of the capital's history all at once. Next, visit Borough Market one of London s largest and oldest food markets. Then drive back to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure for individual dining pursuits. BELFAST ARRIVAL After breakfast, transfer to Heathrow airport in time for your flight to Belfast. Land in the Belfast and after you disembark your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you and escort you to the coach. Continue your drive to your hotel and check in. You may wish to relax or freshen up before joining your group for dinner. As you walk along the dock, you will truly capture the size and scale of the Titanic. Also go inside the Pump-House, to see the pumps and engines which are capable of draining both docks. Also enjoy a visit to the Botanic Gardens which have provided a sanctuary from the pressures of city life since Tonight join your fellow travelers for a special Titanic themed dinner in The Bridge at the Titanic Belfast. Also enjoy time to explore the museum which will take you on a journey through the life of the Titanic, from her conception in Belfast, through her construction and launch, to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end. OVERNIGHT: EUROPA HOTEL, BALLYMENA & GIANT S CAUSEWAY This morning visit the town of Ballymena for independent activities as arranged by your group leader. Transfer to Dublin Airport in plenty of time to check in for your flight, clear security and claim your VAT refund.
