2 EDITORIAL Dear Friend, when first tasked with realizing the MCY 80, our challenge was to elevate the very concept of the yacht to powerful, luxurious new heights. The MCY 80 combines the best of luxury in yachting with outstanding performance to take the MCY experience to new environments. She delivers cruising pleasure with the aim of enhancing the wellbeing for everyone on-board, providing unparalleled ride and cabin comfort. We evolve. We stay true to our vision. That is not only our latest MCY 80s campaign claim, but a true fitting motto for the way the team operated while designing the yacht, characterized by strong stylistic consistency but also evolving to reach design s fullest expression. Since her World Premiere last July, the MCY 80 already fascinated the World from continent to continent becoming immediately one of the most eagerly awaited yachts of the year. The designers were faced with more than creating a great yacht, their challenge was to elevate the very concept of the MCY range to powerful and refined new heights. Agile and sleek, the MCY 80 was inspired by ideas of élan and finesse, which were translated into smooth exterior lines and shaped bulwarks that give it a curvy, modern look without being too sharp or minimalistic. Like with the other yachts in the MCY collection, an instant sense of spaciousness both inside and out becomes immediately apparent upon boarding the MCY 80. The main saloon and the cabins are flooded with natural light and offer lushly appointed and detailed spaces for both social and private moments. The brushed and bleached floorings found throughout set an elegant ambiance that is further enhanced by precious leather and stone features. 16 Key Features Bow and Sideways Bow lounge area The large surface area is ideal for large sunloungers, comfortable sofas and tables in the shade for savouring meals enjoying the sea view with your family and guests in a space which is both open and private. Portuguese bridge The high and safe sideways typical of MCY are designed in order to offer smooth exterior lines and shaped bulwarks which offer an incomparable, unimpeded view across the horizon - even from the inside. Sweeping window lines and shaped bulwarks enhance the level of light and space across the main deck which can be further enhanced by the choice of two large and full height openable windows. 24 Key Features lower deck The lower deck offers comfortable accommodation up to 8 guests in 4 double cabins. Crew can operate on board taking care of the yacht while remaining fully independent of moving around without interfering with the guests. Generous lower deck arrangements Owner cabin area: 25.5 sqm Crew area: 12 sqm Remarkably, a spacious en suite bathroom can be found in each of the guest cabins. Single beds that can be joined together and turn into a queen size bed quickly. 4 The owner bathroom is sumptuous and offers a large shower together with his and hers sinks and a separated toilet room. The walk-in closet offers great comfort. 2 3 Day toilet located on intermediate deck to be easily accessible both from the main deck for daily use and the starboard guest cabin for night use. The full beam owners suite offers panoramic views through full-size windows. The warm décor underlines the very contemporary overall look. 5 6 The crew quarters are located aft and can be reached through dedicated stairs on port side.
