(stand up straight) Their heart were very sad, (point to heart; make sad face.) For they hadn t found a home Chop! Five Little People All Made of Snow 5 little people all made out of snow 5 little snowmen standing in a row Out came the sun and stayed all day 1 little snowman melted all away! (continue 4,3,2,1) Five Little Pumpkins Five Little Pumpkins sitting on the gate The first one said, Oh my it s getting late The second one said, There are witches in the air. The third one said, Oh I don t care! The fourth one said, Let s run and run and run. The fifth one said, Let s stay and have some fun! Then whish went the wind and out went the light (clap) And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight. Funny Turkey The turkey is a funny bird. It s head goes wobble, wobble. All it knows is just one word And that is gobble, gobble! Gingerbread Man Mix and stir and pat in a pan I m going to make a gingerbread man! With a nose so neat And a mouth so sweat And gingerbread shoes For his gingerbread feet!

7 Reindeer Cookies 5 little cookies sitting on a plate Waiting for Santa But he was running late. Along came a Reindeer and guess what he ate? (Chomp Chomp Chomp) One of the cookies sitting on the plate. 4,3,2,1, repeat No Little cookies sitting on the plate, Because that s what Santa s Reindeer ate. Rocket I am a rocket Crouched on the ground, Waiting quietly Without a sound. Light this fuse on my little toe Ready for take off? Here I go Woooooooooosh Rolling, rolling (brain gym) Rolling, rolling little hands Rolling down the street Rolling slowly, getting faster Roll, roll, roll, roll, roll! Round About Round about, round about Goes the wee mousie Up a bit, up a bit In his little housie! Round and Round the Garden Round and round the garden Like a teddy bear 1 step, 2 steps tickle you under there! Round and round the garden In the wind and rain 1 step, 2 steps Tickle you there again. Sippity Sup Sippity sup, sippity sup. I drink tea in a little cup. Sippity sup, sippity sup. Mom drinks tea in a great big cup. Snowflakes Falling Sonwflakes, snowflakes falling down (hold hands up high) Softly, quietly to the ground, (flutter fingers down to floor) They form a blanket soft and white, To comfort plants through winter s night, (pate floor gently with hands) See the snowflakes as they play, (flutter hands and fingers in air) Swirling, twirling on their way, (twirl around with fluttering hands) What a pretty, sparkly sight, When all the earth is dressed in white! (clap hands) Spaghetti Here is a piece of spaghetti All slimy and thin It twirls and it curls And it tickles your chin.

The Christmas Tree I am a Christmas tree growing up tall But when I first stared, I was this small Then I grew bigger and had branches this wide And I made pine cones with seeds hiding inside The wind shakes my branches And down those seeds fall To make new little pine trees for tinsel and balls. The Cobbler (great for getting shoes on) There s a cobbler on our street Mending shoes for little feet With a bang, with a bang, with a bang, bang, bang. The Eency Weency Spider (Alberta version) The eency weency spider climbed up the frozen tree Down came the snow and made the spider freeze Out came the sun and it didn t do a thing! So the poor frozen spider just had to wait for spring and wait and wait and WAIT! The Elephant The elephant goes like this and that. He s oh, so big, And he s oh, so fat! There Was A Little Mouse There was a little mouse And he lived just there (touch a spot on baby s body) And when anybody came He ran right up there! (run fingers up leg or arm for a tickle) The Snowman Roll him and roll him until he is big Roll him until he is fat as a pig He has two eyes and a hat on his head He ll stand there all night While we go to bed! The Turtle Goes Up the Hill (do action up child s arm) The turtle goes up the hill Creepy, creepy, creepy, creepy The snake went up the hill Slither, slither, slither, slither The rabbit went up the hill Boing, boing, boing, boing The elephant went up the hill Thud, thud, thud, thud And they pushed and they pushed and they pushed and they pushed And the big rock came tumbling down Bumpity, bumpity, bumpity, bumpity CRASH! This is Me This is me from my head to my toes I have two eyes and one little nose I can wiggle my ears and stamp my feet From my head to my toes I m really neat! This is My Family This is my mother (thumb) This is my father (pointer finger) This is my brother tall (middle) This is my sister (ring) This is the baby (pinky) Oh, how I love them all! (clap left hand over all fingers and hug) This is My Right Hand This is my right hand, I raise it high This is my left hand, I ll touch the sky. Right hand, left hand, roll them round and round. This Little Cow This little cow eats grass This little cow eat hay This little cow drinks water This little cow runs away And this little cow does nothing all day So we ll chase her and chase her and chase her away! Tying My Shoe I know how to tie my shoe I take the loop and poke it through. It s very hard to make it stay Because my thumb gets in the way.
