5 MANUFACTURING APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING TRACK Become a CNC Machinist Learn to operate and maintain CNC machining and turning centers, use CAD/CAM software, lathes, milling, tool room equipment and measuring devices. Work with various metals, read blueprints, and produce products to meet specifications. Pre-Apprenticeship is a 7 week course designed for entry-level students as well experienced machinist who want to enter Focus Hope s CNC machinist apprentice training program. While advancing through apprentice training students will take the NIMS safety & measurement certification exam. Apprenticeship Training After completion of pre-apprentice training, qualifying students advance to apprentice training.
