Hong Kong s First Multi-sensory & Multi-faceted Exhibition for Professional and Enthusiast Photographers Hong Kong Photo Imaging & Camera Expo (PICEX) is Hong Kong s first of its kind exhibition for photographers from across the consumer spectrum. There has always been a big audience that isn't being reached by traditional advertising and promotions alone. They are looking for a hightouch experience in an increasingly fun world of photography. They are curious. Interested. Ready to be engaged. Many of these events i.e., single-brand events, or events pertaining to one type of photography-related hardware or software, or one type of photographic art were too narrowly focused to appeal to the city s whole range of photography professionals and enthusiasts. Furthermore, there are plenty of successful multi-disciplinary Photo Imaging expositions around the world and we believe this is the right moment to tap on this void and offer more choices for Hong Kong. PICEX will be the very first to have all photographic imaging elements brought under one roof. PICEX is a multi-sensory experience designed to surprise and delight the attendees. 3 Our Zoning plan is as follows: Products & services showcase. Manufacturers and retailers will exhibit their latest products, including photo imaging equipment, accessories and services. Promotional events will be lined up with our exhibitors to enrich the visitors experience. Seminars & practical workshops. We will run educational and informative seminars by prominent photographers and also run workshops on creative photographic techniques and technical know-hows. These activities will cater to the ability levels of professional photographers, photographic enthusiasts and amateurs alike. We will even go niche to offer knowledge on alternative photography techniques. Other entertaining events. These activities include photo shooting sessions with models, motor vehicles, and pets; a live photo shooting competition; and other peripheral interactive events to liven up the Expo. Booths by photographic arts galleries. These galleries will appeal to people who appreciate photography as an art form, or those who seek inspiration from the artists.
