120 The 5 Spatial Relationship Tools You can use 5 types of Spatial Relationships tools to find objects. 1. Objects that are Entirely Contained In. Example: The green box is entirely contained within the red rectangle. 2. Objects that are Intersected By another object. 121 3. Objects that are Intersected by the envelope of another object. Example: The blue line is the envelope of the red polygon. An envelope is defined as the minimum bounding right rectangle. Both the green box and the orange box are intersected by the envelope of the red polygon. 4. Objects that are Overlapping another object.
