10 BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT Company Profile International News concerning GO Distribution: An update from Brazil Centre for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (CEPEA) has shown that , citrus crop will be uncertain. Therefore it would be favorable for GO Distribution Ltd to produce and supply fruit juice so as not to depend on foreign market juice suppliers. Moreover, they can export juice produced to countries facing scarcity of fresh fruit juice supplies and gain a higher market share on the foreign market. It has been reported that Chile is facing problems of Fruit Flies which can lead to complications in forthcoming harvest of fruits in Chile. The supply of fruits will tend to become scarcer. Therefore, competition on the fruit export market would decrease, resulting into better trade opportunities for GO Distribution. Local News (Mauritius) Nowadays in Mauritius, people are adopting a more healthy way of living. Successful advertising campaigns on health precautions have had an impact on them. Hence, Mauritians are demanding more fruits and vegetables which is a positive point for GO Distribution Ltd business. 9 P a g e
