1 We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced and highly motivated individuals in the following roles working on large scale commercial construction projects in the Perth metro area. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following: Senior Site Manager a minimum of 3 to 7 years previous experience; the ability to facilitate efficient delivery from site start through to completion; excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, focus on quality and cost control and the ability to drive programming and have a high regard for safety. Contract Administrator a minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience within the construction industry; the ability to interpret architectural plans/drawings and hold a relevant tertiary qualification. Architectural Draftsperson sound understanding of ArchiCad 15; a minimum 2 to 3 years relevant experience within the housing industry and hold a Building Design or Drafting qualification. 2 SENIOR SITE MANAGER DEPARTMENT: POSITION TITLE: Senior Site Manager POSITION TITLE THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Construction Manager DIRECT REPORTS: Site Staff and Labourers POSITION SUMMARY: The key responsibilities of this position are to oversee building construction and control of all aspects of site operations; including implementing and monitoring strict quality control and health and safety procedures, plus ensuring that the project runs to schedule and within budget. Outlined below are the required key competencies necessary to undertake the role. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES: Qualifications: Tertiary building qualification is advantageous but a proven track record is more desirable Experience: Minimum 3-7 years experience. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications Competencies (knowledge, skills and behaviours): Strong writing and verbal communication skills essential and the ability to motivate teams of workers Planning and organisational ability Skill in interpreting drawings and understanding specifications on building plans Technical ability

Building methods and materials Building standards and regulations and ability to accurately interpret read plans and diagrams Quantity, quality, cost control and general purchasing Safety methods and procedures used on building sites Staff management MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS POSITION: Activities Description of activities and responsibilities Principal Accountabilities Supervise and co-ordinate all site activities including labour. Ensure effective planning and communication of all activities. Participate in tender handover meeting. Ensure a full understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure compliance with Pindan s OH&S Management System. Conduct Site Safety Inductions for all new starters and the recording of such inductions. Recording of all site records including RFI s, daily site diary, required safety records, any verbal instructions for architects/consultants, etc. Chair and minute tool box meetings. Chair regular subcontractor meetings (preferably fortnightly) with CA present to take minutes. Assist subcontractors in the preparation of JSA s when required. Short term programming and assisting Construction Manager with review of master programmes. Ensure that the quality of work produced by all staff and subcontractors complies with specifications/drawings and meets all requirements including deadlines. Ensure that all local authority and statutory requirements are adhered to. Ensure all plant and equipment is correctly maintained. Ensure that site security and public protection

4 standards are adhered to. Manage day to day industrial relations issues in accordance with company policy. Liaise with statutory authorities including WorkSafe and local councils. Ensure use of internal resources when in doubt. Ensure team building between all parties on site including client s representatives and consultants. Liaise with estimating team with build-ability issues when requested. Outlined below are the required Key competencies necessary to undertake the role. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES: Qualifications: Must have a sound knowledge of the construction industry, including housing and maintenance Tertiary building qualification Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated experience using Everest Estimating System & CHEOPS Competencies (knowledge, skills and behaviours): Strong writing and verbal communication skills essential Strong organisational skills

6 MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS POSITION: Activities Description of activities and responsibilities Principal Accountabilities Liaise with Estimating during and after project handover to ensure a full understanding of the project requirements. Prepare a schedule of specified requirements at project award. Prepare and maintain a drawing register. Control distribution of drawings and all contract documents to site, consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers as required. Set up and maintain filing system, in accordance with Company policy, of all correspondence including both hard copy and electronic is readily accessible. Obtain quotations and negotiate contracts with Subcontractors and Suppliers Draft contracts for Subcontractors and Suppliers for approval by Construction Manager. Check and prepare payments for Subcontractors and Suppliers. Schedule quantities for materials as required. Prepare and agree progress claims with Architect/PQS/Superintendent Agree variations with Architect and Subcontractors. Liaise with Construction Manager for all matters that may delay works or have cost impact. Correspond with Client/Consultants/Subcontractors on financial and contractual matters. Prepare and maintain variation and RFI schedules. Attend site meetings with Consultants and keep minutes. Attend site meetings with Subcontractors and keep minutes. Prepare internal monthly cost reports including costs to completion for approval by Construction Manager.
