2 RAIL ROAD/BUS FLY Walking directions Route 1 From inside Paddington Station (most direct route) Once inside Paddington Station follow the pink and yellow line on the ground towards the Hammersmith & City / Circle underground lines running adjacent to platform 8. Once at the top of the stairs at the end of the station take the right exit and follow the signs to Sheldon Square. Walk along the canal and under the bridge until you see Starbucks, at which point turn left into Paddington Central. On the far side of Paddington Central, past the amphitheatre, you will see Kingdom Street and the Novotel (third building on the left) & Route 2 Corner of Praed Street and Eastbourne Terrace Follow Eastbourne Terrace, so that Paddington Station is on your right-hand side, to the end where there is a T-junction between Eastbourne Terrace and Bishop s Bridge Road. You will now cross Bishop s Bridge road and turn right to follow Bishop s Bridge Road to the top of the bridge. Take the only left-hand turn at the top of the bridge: there will be a sign Paddington Central. Follow this road down into Paddington Central, so the amphitheatre is on your right-hand side. Turn left and you will arrive on Kingdom Street. is the third building on the left-hand side. 7 8 Route 3 Corner of Praed Street and London Street Follow London Street, so that Paddington Station is on your left-hand side. Continue down a cobbled unmarked footpath until you reach the canal: Paddington Station will still be on your left hand side. Walk alongside the canal and under the bridge until you see a Starbucks. Turn left in front of the Starbucks into Paddington Central. Walk through Paddington Central, around the amphitheatre, and you will arrive on Kingdom Street. On the left you will see a lift: take it to level 1 and cross the bridge towards the Hammersmith & City tube exit. At the top of the stairs at the end of the station take the right-hand exit and follow the signs to Sheldon Square. Continue along the canal and under the bridge until you see Starbucks, at which point turn left into Paddington Central. On the far side of the Paddington Central development, past the amphitheatre, you will see Kingdom Street and the Novotel (third building on the left). Taxi: approximately 5 to the hotel (mention Sheldon Square to the driver). St Pancras Station Take either the Hammersmith & City or Circle underground line to Paddington Station. Driving from the A40 and local car park details Eastbound on the A40 West: Exit West End Paddington Continue forward and merge onto the slip road: this road turns into Westbourne Terrace Turn left onto the A4206 (Bishop s Bridge Road) Car park Turn left after approx. 40 metres into the APCOA car park (just after the Eastbourne Terrace lights) Hotel Turn left at Paddington Central into Sheldon Square at the top of Bishop s Bridge Road. Turn left onto Kingdom Street Westbound on the A40 East: At Marylebone Flyover branch left signposted Paddington, The North, M1, Kilburn At traffic signals, continue forward signposted Paddington A404 Continue forward onto the A404 At roundabout take the first exit on to the A4206 signposted Oxford, Wembley, Ealing A40, Paddington Car park Follow Bishop s Bridge Road and turn right into APCOA car park (just after the Eastbourne Terrace lights) Hotel Turn right at Paddington Central into Sheldon Square at the top of Bishop s Bridge Road. Price: Heathrow Express: 20 minutes to Paddington Station, leaving every 15 minutes. Express day single ticket: per adult and 8.20 per child. Heathrow Connect: 30 minutes to Paddington Station, leaving approximately every 30 minutes may vary. Single ticket: 7.90 per adult, 50% discount for children (5-15 years). Taxi: Approximately depending on the traffic. This will take approximately 50 minutes (mention Sheldon Square to the driver). Coach: National Express, 1 hour to Victoria Station. An adult single ticket costs 14 and 11 for a child. The bus leaves twice an hour and takes approximately 90 minutes. Take the Victoria line and swap to the Bakerloo line to Paddington Station.
