2 I am very pleased, therefore, to invite your Open Team Champions to participate in this extraordinary event and I would be grateful if you could confirm the team participation and send me the following details of this team as soon as possible, and before 30 th September 2008: name of the club to which the team belongs: if the team is composed by players from different clubs, the team will be named with the name of the Captain followed by Norway (or French, or Danish etc.) National Champion names of Captain and players, name and address of the person entitled to receive further information. After your confirmation and after the EBL Credentials Committee has given its agreement, I will send you all the other information concerning every useful detail. At the end of the round-robin the first two ranked teams will play a KO match of 48 boards (4 sessions of 12: 1 st A v. 2 nd B 1 st B v. 2 nd A) in Semi-final A, the third and fourth in Semi-final B (3 rd A v. 4 th B 3 rd B v. 4 th A) and the fifth and sixth in Semi-final C (5 th A v. 6 th B 5 th B v, 6 th A). The winners of Semi-final A will play a KO match of 48 boards (4 sessions of 12) for the title; the losers will play a KO Match of 36 boards (3 sessions of 12) for the third place; the winners of the Semi-finals B and C will play a KO match of 36 boards (3 sessions of 12), respectively, for fifth and ninth places; the losers of these Semi-finals will not play. With this result your national champion team has been ranked for the 7th White House Bridge Champions Cup which will be held from Thursday November 6th till Sunday November 9th, 2008 in Amsterdam.
