They ope automatically whe temperature icreases at the sesig bulb. No exteral power source is required to actuate the valve. Not to be used for salt water service. O startig, total flow is i the bypass mode. s the fluid temperature rises, some fluid is diverted to the coolig system. s fluid temperature cotiues to rise, more flow is diverted util the valve is fully stroked. t this poit, all the flow is diverted to the cooler. With respect to temperature rages, the omial temperature represets the operatig temperature. The first figure i the temperature rage represets the valve opeig poit, ad the secod figure represets the full ope poit. Valves are acceptable for oil or water service. They may be mouted i ay plae. Whe istalled as a mixig valve, it is o the cold side of the applicatio, ad mixes hot liquid with cooled liquid to discharge the proper temperature fluid to the process. Whe istalled as a divertig valve, it is o the hot side of the applicatio, ad bypasses the cold liquid allowig the system to warm up, the directs the hot liquid to the cooler. Temperature settigs are omial. 110 F ad 140 F are stadard. Other settigs are available upo request. 7 Thermal Bypass ssembly ccessories This thermal bypass valve is ideally suited for hydrostatic drive circuits which require fast warm-up, cotrolled fluid temperature, ad low retur lie back pressure. Whe istalled i the retur lie of a hydraulic circuit that employs ad oil cooler, this device will modulate fluid temperature by either shiftig Features 1. Operatig Characteristics.
