Some 35 million ounces of gold have been recorded from over 20 major deposits within 80 kilometres of the tenement portfolio. Portfolio acquired from prominent Kalgoorlie- based prospectors Dr. Bob Fagan (formerly senior lecturer in geology at the Western Australian School of Mines), and goldfields veteran Mr. Cranston Edwards Both Dr Fagan and Mr. Edwards will be appointed Strategic Advisors to Vector, with direct responsibility for development of acquired tenements. A highly prospective anomalous zone has been identified through extensive surface based geological work (predominantly stream and soil geochemistry, shallow drilling and ground- based geophysics). In recent years, more than 10 kilograms of nugget and coarse gold has been recovered from the surface and near- surface of the mining lease. An aggressive exploration program to commence in the coming months to include a comprehensive ground geophysical survey and extensive drilling program. P: F:

2 24 February 2011 The Board of gold focused company, Vector Resources Ltd (ASX: VEC) ( Vector or the Company ) is pleased to announce that in- line with its corporate strategy of acquiring and developing gold assets that have the capacity of building significant shareholder value, Vector has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of a portfolio of tenements located within the prolific gold producing region of Leonora, Western Australia. (Refer Figure 1). Figure 1: Location of Muriels Extension The portfolio known as Muriels Extension consists of nine (9) contiguous concessions one mining lease (M37/661) and eight adjoining prospecting licenses (P37/ ) located 43 km NE of Leonora, a highly prospective part of the North- Eastern Goldfields Province of the Yilgar Block of Western Australia, one of the World s premier Achaean gold terrains. In recent years a significant amount of surface exploration work including stream and soil geochemistry, shallow drilling and ground- based geophysics has been undertaken on these tenements 2

3 Under the terms of the agreement Vector will make a payment of A$250,000 to the vendors and has agreed to the issue of shares to the vendors, based on project related milestones. Vector will also undertake at its cost an aggressive initial work program consisting of a comprehensive ground geophysical survey and drilling program (refer Key Agreement Terms for full details of consideration). Vector has acquired the portfolio from prominent Kalgoorlie- based prospectors Dr Bob Fagan (formerly senior lecturer in geology at the Western Australian School of Mines, with over 20 years Archaean, Eastern Goldfields and gold experience), and Mr. Cranston Edwards, a professional prospector and miner of some 25 years Goldfields experience. Both Dr Fagan and Mr. Edwards will be retained as advisors to the project and will be instrumental in the exploration and development of the Project moving forward. Highly Prospective Geology Muriels Extension lies near the intersection of the Sandstone- Mt Weld Lineament and Celia Lineaments, associated with numerous major gold deposits in the region. More then 20 major deposits lie within 80kms of the project and account for more than 35 million ounces of gold (refer to Figure 2.) The southern margins of a large granite intrusion mark the northern extremities of the Muriel s lease area. North of this granite lies the 3.8 million ounce Darlot gold deposit within the 12 million ounce Yandal Belt. At the regional scale the concession area forms part of the SSE plunging Benalla Anticline, which appears to be one of a series of similar anticlinal structures, periodically reversing in plunge extending southwards from the very prospective Yandal Belt. Prominent along strike examples of these anticlines are to be found associated with the main gold mineralization at Bronzewing and Darlot within the Yandal Belt. Several anomalous areas have been identified in the region and previous broad spaced drilling by Son s of Gwalia encountered two encouraging shallow intersections recorded within the present tenements. A significant gold soil anomaly >10ppb exists in the eastern portion of the Muriel s. The anomaly appears to be located within transported cover, (although not restricted to calcrete horizons within this cover). The anomalous area is m wide, over two kilometres in length and extends from within M37/661 into neighbouring tenements at either end. These neighbouring tenements are now held as P37/ within the present project area. Most recently a significant amount of surface based geological work has been undertaken on the tenements (predominantly stream and soil geochemistry, shallow drilling and ground- based geophysics) to define the current anomalous zone. 3

4 Significant Upside Muriel s Extension has significant upside with the potential for the discovery of an economic gold deposit, with encouraging fundamentals, including; In recent years, within M37/661 more than ten kilograms of nugget and coarse gold have been recovered from surface and near- surface excavations (refer image 3), It is considered that that Muriels Extension has potentially the same structural and drainage trend as the Randwick deposit (JORC compliant measured and indicated 380,000 ounces of gold) located approximately 5 kilometres to the south of the project area, Significant region of prospectivity, with more than 35 million ounces of gold identified within a radius of 80 km Muriels Extension (refer to Figure 2). Two RAB holes by Sons of Gwalia in 1988 and three holes undertaken by the present tenement holders in 1996 within the tenement area have given encouraging sub- economic assay grades over several metres at shallow depths. The tenements are bound by a major granite intrusion and a north- south drainage divide immediately to the north and drainage within the tenement area is southward. This considerable amount of coarse secondary gold is considered possible that the abundant alluvial gold won from the tenements could have a shallow, primary source nearby. The identification of an open ended, soil enrichment zone approximately 400 metres wide and extending over a length of 2 kilometres within M37/661. More recent soil and MMI sampling has extended this anomaly further into the adjacent prospecting licence areas held by the present syndicate. 4

5 Key Terms of acquisition Vector is to acquire 100% of the Muriel s Extension tenement portfolio and all related mining information for the following consideration; - A$250,000 payable by Vector within two business days of execution of Definitive Agreement. - The issue to the vendors of ordinary fully paid shares ( Shares ) in the capital of Vector as follows: o 5 million Shares on Vector electing to continue with the project upon the completion of the Initial Work Program; o 3 million Shares on the delineation of a JORC compliant resource of 250,000 ounces of gold at the project; and o 10 million Shares on the delineation of a JORC Compliant resource of 500,000 ounces of gold at the project. - Vector is to fund an initial exploration program of $700,000 over an 18-month period; and - Subsequent to that activity being successful funding a further work program for a minimum of $700,000 over an additional 18-month period. - The vendors are to retain a 2% net smelter royalty of any gold produced at the project. - An introduction fee is payable to an unrelated 3 rd party. The transaction is subject to the following Conditions Precedent: - The vendors obtaining all necessary third party consents and regulatory approvals; and - The parties negotiate and execute a Definitive Agreement (to be completed no later than 18 April 2011). Competent Person s Statement Information in this report pertaining to mineral resources and exploration results was compiled by Mr. J Jordan who is a member of Aus.I.M.M. Mr. J Jordan has sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Reserves.
