3 Reliable products for more than 25 years Quality establishes safety When in 1987 MATRA-Werke GmbH presented an EDM drilling machine, there was astonishment among the experts. During one of the first test runs of the machine in Frankfurt somebody shouted: it just drills like a devil! Consequently the trade name Drill devil was found and since this point of time it stands for the process of EDM drilling. Within the last 25 years, the first version of the Drill devil was continually advanced. Over the years CNC-machines 2005 with electrode- and guide changer as well as connection to CAM- and robot systems were added. MADRA-EDM accompanies the user with consulting engineers and pre-production tests in their own test centre. Big ideas determine big know-how. MADRA-EDM has an almost unique scope available, not only in the field of machine- and service technique, but also with machine accessories and consumables. 2012
