12 HORIMASTER Highest Precision within Micrometers This machine series comprises a single column machine with the most modern drive and control systems, allowing the greatest possible precision and optimal performance of the open system. Due to this modular and flexible system configuration the HORIMASTER series can be individually adjusted to the requirements of the customer e.g. with automatic tool change and head change in pick-up version. It considerably increases (with appropriate investment) the range of parts that can be machined on it. Among the machines that are equipped with rams SCHIESS offers powerful girder / spindle solutions in hydrostatic construction. HORIMASTER 3 Horimaster Works Efficient and Precise Backlash-free pre-loaded and absolutely wear-free hydrostatic guideways for round and linear axes provide maximum utilization for all desired machining tasks. HORIMASTER 5 A guiding system is used for the linear axes, which consists of identical components. The hydrostatic guided ram is equipped with fully integrated drives for spindle and head swiveling and with a clamping system.
