6 Summary: This standard explres the cncept f perimeter as being the distance arund the utside f a particular bject, as well as determine unknwn side lengths when given. Students will understand the difference between perimeter and area; perimeter des nt determine area and area des nt determine perimeter. Students will master the ability t calculate the perimeter f an bject by measuring all the sides f an bject and adding thse measurements tgether.
