4 The Establishment of the Podiatric Residency Program Provide the State of Kentucky with a Podiatric Residency Training Program Provide an educational institution providing cutting edge treatment and resources in the field of foot and ankle pathology for the Commonwealth Provides a referral source for the general medical community in complex disorders of the foot and ankle Establishes a center for much needed research in diseases and disorders of the foot and ankle
5 Mission/Objectives of Program This 36 month podiatric residency training program has evolved to develop the abilities and values necessary to provide surgical and medical care of the foot and ankle. The goals of the program shall be attained by a dedicated Director and residency staff. The educational process is designed to develop comprehensive working knowledge and skills as a clinician, surgeon, researcher, educator, manager and humanitarian
