2 Nick Blazquez President, Diageo Africa, Eastern Europe & Turkey and Global Sales British Need photo Responsible for the largest developing market region within Diageo plc, the world s leading premium drinks business. I was President of Diageo in Africa where since 2004 I have managed the transformational growth of businesses and brands in key markets. I joined Diageo in 1989 and held various senior roles within the company s beer and spirits businesses, including as Managing Director of Diageo s businesses in Asia. 3 Andy Fennell President and Chief Operating Officer, Africa British Responsible for the overall direction and performance of Diageo s businesses in Africa which directly employ over 6,300 people. In Africa, Diageo is a scale business operating in both beer and spirits which it distributes in 40 countries. I joined Guinness at the beginning of 1997 (which became part of Diageo plc). From 2000 to 2004 I operated in the USA, leading Smirnoff vodka and Diageo s rum portfolio globally. As European Marketing Director from January 2005, I oversaw rapid growth in Eastern Europe and Russia, particularly for Diageo s scotch business. 4 Jeff Milliken Managing Director, brandhouse, South Africa British Need photo Favourite drink: Responsible for brandhouse - the total beverage alcohol joint venture between Diageo, Heineken and Namibia Breweries in South Africa. Took up current role in July Over 23 years with Diageo having joined as a newly qualified chartered accountant. Has held roles across both finance and supply working in UK, Asia and Latin America. Prior to taking up current role spent 5 years based in Caracas as managing Director of Andean, responsible for the Venezuelan and Colombian markets. Johnnie Walker Black Label 4
5 Seni Adetu Managing Director, Nigeria Nigerian Rejoined Guinness Nigeria in 2012 as Managing Director after having spent three years in charge of East African Breweries Ltd. Seni has held a number of senior roles within Diageo s businesses in Africa including managing director of Guinness Ghana. In Nigeria, Diageo is a majority shareholder in Guinness Nigeria plc a locally listed brewing company and distributes spirits through Diageo Brands Nigeria a wholly owned entity. 6 Ekwunife Okoli Managing Director, Africa Regional Markets Nigerian Responsible for Africa Regional Markets, one of the four Diageo strategic business units in Africa comprising of more than 30 individual country markets including Ghana, Cameroun, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Angola, Cote D Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Indian Ocean (Seychelles, Mauritius, Reunion, and Madagascar), and Gabon. 7 Charles Ireland Managing Director, East Africa Markets British Responsible for Diageo s subsidiaries in East Africa which form East African Breweries Limited, a company listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. EABL operates local brewing operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and distribution in Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan. I joined the East Africa Market in April Previously I worked as the Managing Director of Guinness Anchor Berhad, Diageo plc s premium beer joint venture business in Malaysia, for five years, and before that I held various positions for Diageo and before that Nestle including Diageo s Commercial Director for the Asia Market. 8 Gerald Mahinda Managing Director, Africa Spirits Transformation Kenyan Responsible for accelerated performance of Diageo spirits in Africa. Working with the African businesses, identifies and drives growth opportunities for Diageo brands in Reserve, premium and mainstream spirits, helping build the category on the continent. Favourite drink: Tanqueray Mojito I became focused on spirits after three years as Managing Director of brandhouse in South Africa, during which spirits net sales increased 33% and brandhouse gaining share in both beer and spirits to become South Africa s clear number two in TBA. Prior to brandhouse I was Managing Director, East Africa for five years, having joined the company in
