Hip Carry...p5 6. Back Carry...p6 Lumbar Support...p7 Safety...p8 START HERE: WAIST BELT Every carrying position starts with placing the waist belt around your hip or waist. Place waist belt around your hip or waist. Run male buckle through elastic safety band and connect with female buckle. You will hear it click when it is safely engaged. Pull remaining webbing strap through the elastic safety band it should hang outside the elastic band to allow for adjustments. - - Tighten. Belt should always fit snug. Roll up excess webbing and fold elastic loop around strap-roll to keep it in place. (Optional)

3 . FETAL CARRY Newborn to Months Minimum 7lb (.kg) Ideal for newborns min. 7lb (.kg) to approx. months. Use Wide Seat setting. Install Safety Harness and adjust to fit baby s size. Place waist belt on: Find a nursing blanket and roll it up to a seat. Leave a loose end. Place the blanket on the belt and tuck loose end under the waist belt to keep it in place. Bring baby to your chest. Gently slide her onto the blanket and guide feet to each side or in front of her. Support baby with your left hand; with your right hand place the shoulder strap over your shoulder. Switch hands to support your baby; with your left hand place the left shoulder strap over your shoulder. 5 Run hands along shoulder pads and locate the connecting strap behind your neck; connect the buckle and tighten the strap. 6 Locate the harness strap inside the carrier; run strap around baby s waist and engage buckles in front of baby s belly. Neck Support Unbutton Neck Support snaps. Fold Neck Support up and connect with buckles on shoulder pads. - - Hold on to the buckle and pull on the Neck Support webbing to adjust the Neck Support width. (Optional)

4 . FACE IN w/infant Minimum 7lb (.kg) and Up Ideal for newborn babies 7lb (.kg) and until baby is ready for the wide seat. Use Narrow Seat setting. Install Safety Harness and adjust to fit baby s size. 5 Connect waist belt around your waist to position baby higher up (p ). Bring baby up, facing you. Baby s legs should straddle the carrier seat. Support baby with your left hand; with your right hand place the shoulder strap over your shoulder. Switch hands to support your baby; with your left hand place the shoulder strap over your left shoulder. With both shoulder straps securely on your shoulders; engage the connecting strap buckle behind your neck and tighten. Engage Safety harness: Locate the harness strap inside the carrier, run strap around baby s waist and engage buckles in front of baby s belly.. FACE FORWARD 6 Months* and Older *Do not start until baby can strongly support her/his head upright, ideally 6 months. Use Narrow Seat. Fold Neck Support down. Place waist belt on your hip or waist (p ). Bring baby close to you, facing out. Place baby s bottom close to your belly button, sitting on the belt. Guide baby s legs to each side of the carrier seat. Support baby with your right hand. With your left hand place the left shoulder strap over your shoulder. Carrier should catch close to baby s crotch. Switch hands to support your baby; with your right hand place the right shoulder strap over your shoulder. With both shoulder straps securely on your shoulders; engage the connecting strap buckle and tighten. TIP: If the seat looks too wide, lift baby closer to the belt. Also try tucking the carrier seat in to more of a V-shape between baby s legs. - -

5 . FACE IN w/wide SEAT 6 Months and Older Start when baby is comfortable sitting with legs on each side of your waist normally minimum 6 months. Use Wide Seat setting. Place waist belt on your hip or waist (p ). Bring your baby close against your chest, facing you. Guide baby s legs to each side of your waist. Bring carrier up over baby s back. Support your baby with your right hand. With your left hand place the left shoulder strap over your left shoulder. Switch to supporting your baby with your left hand. With your right hand place the right shoulder strap over your shoulder. Run hands along shoulder pads and locate the connecting strap behind your neck; connect the buckle and tighten the strap. 5. HIP CARRY 6 Months and Older Use Wide Seat setting. Start when baby is comfortable sitting with legs on each side of your waist normally minimum 6 months. Place waist belt on and rotate it to your hip (p ): Place waist belt on your hip or waist (p ). Unbuckle both shoulder straps; connect the left (front) padded strap with the right (back) webbing strap. Pull remaining webbing strap through elastic safety band. Bring baby up, legs straddling your hip. Bring body of carrier over baby s back. Support baby with your right arm. With your left hand run the connected shoulder strap over your head and place onto your left shoulder. Place right arm through strap to the front of the carrier Run the right (back) padded shoulder pad under your right arm and around your waist, and connect with webbing strap buckle. Run remaining webbing strap through elastic safety band. Tighten straps.

6 6. BACK CARRY 6 Months and Older Use Wide Seat setting. Start with baby in Front-Face-In position with the Wide Seat (p5). Always support baby with one hand: Loosen shoulder straps by lifting the outer edge of the buckles. Slip your right arm up under the shoulder pad. Slide your left arm down under the shoulder strap webbing. Push strap onto your shoulder. 5 Place left hand under baby s bottom and right hand on the belt. In one motion, lift baby and slide her around your hip onto your back under your lifted arm. A light bounce will assist the move. Move right hand to your back to support baby. 6 Slide right hand under shoulder pad and put it back in place. Slide left hand under webbing strap and put it back in place. Tighten straps for a snug fit. To remove baby from the back carry position, follow the same strap-instructions as above and rotate baby around your hip to your front. When in front, release the connecting strap and shoulder straps and place baby down. ENGAGE HOOD Locate the right hood strap and extend it up above your head. With your left hand, follow along edge of the hood to locate the left hood strap. Lean forward and adjust baby s head to the center of your back. Extend hood taut over baby s head Connect snaps on hood straps to snaps on shoulder pads at a length that supports baby s head.

7 NARROW SEAT. Unsnap seat flaps from waist belt (buttons located inside the flaps).. Release flaps from waist belt by pulling belt through the flaps.. Fold seat flaps to the inside/ lining side and place left seat flap on top of right seat flap. Connect the mini-flap button with the button on left flap. WIDE SEAT. Unsnap mini-flap button.. Run waist belt through the seat flaps. Connect the sideflap buttons (located inside flaps) with the waist belt buttons. LUMBAR SUPPORT INFANT HARNESS Run waist buckle through the lumbar support loops. Place waist belt on and adjust location to best fit you. INSTALL HOOD Run harness strap through the two vertical loops on the carrier lining and buckle to keep it in place. Run the two buckles located on front of carrier through the button holes on the hood Thread hood webbing straps through front buckles. Adjust length webbing strap.

8 WARNING - FALL HAZARD CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLING AND USING THE CARRIER. KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE. ONLY USE THIS CARRIER FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 7 LBS (. KG) AND 5 LBS (0 KG). THE SAFETY HARNESS MUST BE SECURELY INSTALLED FOR BABIES LESS THAN LBS (5 KG). INSPECT THE CARRIER FOR ANY SIGNS OF WEAR AND TEAR BEFORE EACH USE. CHILD MUST FACE TOWARD YOU UNTIL HE OR SHE CAN HOLD HEAD UPRIGHT. CHILD MUST FACE TOWARD YOU WHEN CARRIED ON YOUR BACK. SMALL CHILDREN CAN FALL THROUGH A LEG OPENING. ADJUST LEG OPENINGS TO FIT BABY S LEGS SNUGLY. ENSURE CHILD IS PROPERLY POSITIONED WITH THE LEGS STRADDLING THE SEAT, YOUR WAIST AND/OR SAFETY HARNESS. ALWAYS ENSURE SUFFICIENT ROOM AROUND BABY S FACE TO PROVIDE A CLEAR SOURCE OF AIR. CHECK TO ENSURE ALL BUCKLES, STRAPS, SNAPS AND ADJUSTMENTS ARE WORKING AND SECURE BEFORE EACH USE. NEVER UNBUCKLE WAIST OR SHOULDER STRAPS WHILE CHILD IS IN THE CAR- RIER. CARRIER SHOULD BE USED BY AN ADULT CARRYING A CHILD ONLY. YOUR BALANCE MAY BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY YOUR MOVEMENTS AND THAT OF YOUR CHILD. CARE WHEN BENDING OR LEANING FORWARD. THIS CARRIER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE DURING SPORTING ACTIVITES. TAKE CARRIER SHOULD NOT BE USED BY PERSONS WITH CONDITIONS THAT MIGHT INTERFERE WITH THE SAFE USE OF THE PRODUCT. DO NOT USE THE CARRIER WHEN JOGGING, BIKING, DRIV- ING OR PERFORMING ANY STRENUOUS ACTIVITY. CONSULT A DOCTOR BEFORE CARRYING HEAVY WEIGHT. SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM ANOTHER ADULT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO SAFELY PLACE CHILD IN THE CARRIER YOURSELF. KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE. ALWAYS KEEP HANDS AVAILABLE TO PROTECT YOUR CHILD FROM FALL OR POTENTIAL DANGER. HOLD YOUR CHILD SECURELY AT ALL TIMES UNTIL CARRIER IS SNUG AND CORRECTLY ATTACHED. Washing Instructions: Spot clean preferred. Machine wash separately on gentle cycle. No bleach, fabric softener or iron. Hang-dry only. This product is backed by líllébaby s warranty policy.
