2 THE INDUSTRY S CHIEF NATIONAL EVENT Citrus Technical 2017 This will be the second Citrus Technical event to be proudly hosted by Citrus Australia. The Forum is the key national event on the industry calendar, and this year we are pleased to host the Citrus Technical 2017 in Mildura, Victoria, which is situated in the heart of the Tri- State citrus region. Who will attend? The conference is expected to attract 300+ citrus industry representatives eager to learn, meet and network with like-minded people. The attendees will include growers, packers, marketers, exporters, researchers, government representatives, commercial providers and regional associations. 3 LOCATION Mildura, a bustling regional city, is a popular tourist destination noted for its warm and stable weather, as well as being a rich agricultural oasis. Featuring wide tree-lined streets, it is surrounded by a vast number of wineries and fruit growing farms. Local respected wines and bountiful local produce are served up at various quality restaurants and available at markets, eateries and cellar doors. The main venue for forum component and exhibition areas of the Citrus Technical 2017 will be held at the iconic Mildura Art Centre, Mildura. The centre is the premier venue for visual and performing arts in far North Western Victoria. The region's main performing arts venue features 444 seats, a large proscenium stage with fly-tower and modern stage equipment, orchestra pit, and ample backstage and green room. The spacious foyer is a beautiful space with a new cafe and direct connections to the Art Galleries, Rio Vista Historic House, and surrounding sculpture garden. 3

13 ADVERTISING Australian Citrus News is the primary information source for all citrus growers and our official magazine. It provides focused, up-to-date information on trends, developments and issues affecting Australia s citrus industry and its national and international markets. The magazine has a usual circulation of 2500 copies and a total readership estimated at 5,000 per issue. The Citrus Technical 2017 is a major event in the citrus calendar and there will be a special Forum edition of the Australian Citrus News, which will also include the official Forum Program. You can reach an increased highly targeted audience by advertising in this special edition. The Official Citrus Technical 2017 Program will be the main point of reference for delegates providing advertisers with a highly targeted and engaged audience who are likely to pay more attention to your advertisements. 14 APPLYING FOR SPONSORSHIP To apply for sponsorship, please complete the application form (on pages 15, 16, 17 & 18) and return the form together with payment for your selected sponsorship option. Please note that: Sponsorship will not be assigned without a signed application form and payment.
