Mechanical Contractor Class C Mechanical Contractor. A Class CM license shall entitle the holder to perform HVAC services. 5 Fire Protection Contractor Class F Fire Protection Contractor. A Class F-F license shall entitle the holder to install, maintain, repair, service, test, and inspect automatic sprinkler and standpipe systems for all structures, including all spray and deluge, carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical, and inert gas systems, and all related lines, tanks, fire control systems, and appurtenances to any of the foregoing. Such contractor shall be responsible for the training and oversight of all tradesmen in its employment as well as the means, method, and manner of the fire protection installation including construction, improvement, renovation, repair, and maintenance on a construction project. Nationally recognized test (Experior/Block & Associates or ICC). If taking a Prometric or ICC exam your test score must be 75% or above and an exam that meets our requirements. APPLICATION FEE: $75.00 (NON-TRANSFERABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE) Application Form and Fee: Zoning and Licensing shall receive and process contractor license applications. An application fee of &75.00 shall accompany each original application. All application and license fees shall be paid without proration. No contractor license may be transferred or assigned. License Fee: $ (Per Year, Per License) Renewal Fee: $ per license due at the end of each calendar year. (License(s) run from January 1 to December 31)

7 Renewal or Reinstatement of License: a. A contractor shall be entitled to renew such contractor license upon the satisfaction of the requirements. b. A license renewal application may be submitted to the county beginning on December first through and including the last day of January without a late fee. Thereafter a $75.00 late fee shall be collected to offset administrative costs incurred as a result of such late renewal. c. Unless an expired license is renewed within one year of its expiration, the contractor shall be required to make a new application and satisfy all of the then-existing contractor licensing requirements. d. License renewal applications shall be mailed by Labette County Zoning and Licensing no later than November first of each year to every licensed contractor at the address provided by the contractor. The failure to receive an application shall not excuse untimely license renewal. Late Fee: $75.00 late fee for each license if license(s) are not renewed on or before January 31 of the following year.
