1 Television User s Guide IPTV - TELEVISION IPTV is a digital television which is always one step ahead. This television brings you abovestandard functions and the highest comfort in watching your favourite films and shows. Basic Information The basic control i. e. switching programs remains the same for digital TV. In addition to that, there are more possibilities of selecting channels, namely with the help of up and down arrows in the middle of the remote control, or with the help of the arrow left of the signpost. The OK button confirms the selection option. The Menu button calls up the basic signpost. The Back button brings you one step back. If you want to go from the Menu back to watching TV, you select the Television option in the Menu. Main Menu After pressing the Menu button, the Main Menu contains the items Radio, Television, Program Guide, Video Services, For Adults and Setup.

2 Context Menu You will call up the Context Menu with the help of the right arrow button. In the Menu you can see the following options: Program Guide, Mosaic of TV Channels, Pause, Watch from the Start, Record Show, Audio Track, Subtitles, Aspect Ratio, and Main Menu. TELEVISION (EPG) The Program Guide offers you programs of TV stations up to 14 days in advance. You will access the Program Guide by pressing the left button on the given TV program twice. If you press the button once more, the detail of the selected show will be displayed.

3 Horizontal EPG After selecting the Program Guide in the Main Menu (Menu button) or Context Menu ( ), EPG will be displayed in horizontal position for your better orientation. Time Shift Function With the Pause TV function you can interrupt the viewing of a show any time for up to 15 minutes and to return to it without missing anything. In fact, the Pause and Play buttons guarantee the utmost comfort and flexibility. With the help of another function, namely Start Over TV, you can shift a current show very simply to the beginning. The service is accessible for most shows. You will find these functions in the Context Menu ( ).

4 Audio Track and Subtitles Language Selection Some of the broadcast shows offer the option of Audio Track and Subtitles Language selection which you can simply change as you wish during the show with the help of colour buttons on the remote control. The yellow button serves for changing the Audio Track, the blue button for changing Subtitles.

5 VIDEOSERVICES Video Recorder In the Main Menu below the Video Services you will find a Video Recorder which will enable you to record your favourite shows. You can record a current show, or you can plan your recording with the help of the Program Guide up to 14 days in advance. The Video Recorder service enables you to record up to 200 hours without the need of using any other device. You will find detailed instructions for the Video Recorder service on HBO Video Library In the Video Services menu you will also find an access to the unlimited HBO Digital library with a broad range of films and series. You are already subscribed to all films in the framework of your lump sum payment and thus, in case you ordered the thematic TV HBO + Cinemax packages, they are freely available to you. Moreover, the offer is updated every month with new titles. You will access the HBO Digital archives with the help of the Main Menu (Menu button), the Video Services item, and then by selecting HBO where you choose from the titles on offer.

6 TV Archives Another function of the Video Services is the TV Archives. Thank to this function you can watch selected show that were broadcast in the past seven days. You will access the TV Archives with the help of the Main Menu (Menu button), the Video Services item, and then by selecting the TV Archives where you can choose from the titles on offer.

7 Playback Options The playback functions of our Video Services are identical to those of DVD players. Also here you will find the following functions: Pause, Fast Motion Playback (with the help of the remote control buttons as in a classical DVD player), Selection of Chapters, Subtitles Setup and the Audio Track selection.

8 Radio If nothing has caught your attention on TV, switch on the Radio. You can choose from several dozens of national and foreign radio stations. You will find Radio in the Main Menu (Menu button). Language Preferences If you want to change the setup of language preferences, it is possible to change the Set-top Box Language, and the Audio and Subtitles Preferred Language. You can make this setup in the Main Menu (Menu button) by selecting Setup and the Languages item.

10 Video Output Setup The setup of the video output through which you want to receive the TV signal can be also done simply in the Main Menu (Menu button) by selecting the Setup, then Set-top Box and Video Output. Aspect Ratio Setup The Aspect Ratio Setup according to the type of your TV is done in the same menu: Main Menu (Menu button), the Setup option, then Set-top Box and the Aspect Ratio.

12 Change of the Parental Lock PIN and the Purchase PIN Do you want to change your Parental Lock PIN, or your Purchase PIN? Again, you can do it through the Main Menu (Menu button), the Setup and the Protection item. Order of TV Channels and Their Locking In case that the preset order of TV channels does not suit you, you can order them as you wish. You will find this option in the Main Menu (Menu button), the Setup and TV Channels. Here you can also set up your Parental Lock for channels that you do not want to be accessible to your children.

14 Self-Service Shop In the Self-Service Shop, which can be found in the Main Menu (Menu button), you can order additional services or thematic TVs. Here you will find a list of all accessible services that you can currently order, including a list of active services that you have already purchased. For ordering selected services it is necessary to put them in your Shopping Basket which you will subsequently send after entering your Purchase PIN. The ordered services will be active within 15 minutes after you send your Shopping Basket. Video Rental Store In the Main Menu (Menu button) below the Video Services you will find the MAXPROGRES video rental store offering you a nonstop access to dozens of films you can rent directly from your home through STB Control. You can choose films according to different criteria and to put them in an order so that the selection is as clear as possible to you. You can also view detailed information about a film. For purchasing a selected title it is sufficient to enter your Purchase PIN. The film will be available to you 24 hours without any limitation of the number of viewings. You can view it repeatedly and after the rental you always know what films you purchased and the time you have left to see a film.
