3 General Safety Rules. S PORTABLE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term power tool in all of the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool. WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. c) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in anyway. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock. d) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded. e) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock. g) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Battery tool use and care a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire. c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns. Service a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. b) If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Additional Safety Instructions for Chargers and Batteries Before using the charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on charger, battery pack and product using the battery pack. Do not place any object on top of the charger or place the charger on a soft surface that may result in excessive internal heat. Place the charger in a position away from any heat source. To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and cord, pull by the plug rather than the cord when disconnecting the charger. Make sure cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress. An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of an improper extension cord could result in the risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution. Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or otherwise damaged in any way. Have it checked by an electrician or power tool repairer. Do not disassemble charger. Take it to an electrician or power tool repairer when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembling may result in a risk of electric shock, electrocution or fire. To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug charger from the outlet before attempting any cleaning. Removing the battery pack will not reduce this risk. Never attempt to connect 2 chargers together. DO NOT store or use the tool and battery pack in locations where the temperature may reach or exceed 40ºC (such as outside sheds or metal buildings in summer). The charger is designed to operate on standard household electrical power (240 Volts). Do not attempt to use it on any other voltage! The battery pack is not fully charged out of the carton. First read the safety instructions and then follow the charging notes and procedures. The longest life and best performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the air temperature is between 18-24ºC. Do not charge the battery pack in an air temperature below 10o C or above 40ºC. This is important and will prevent damage to the battery pack. Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it is seriously damaged or is completely worn out. The battery can explode in a fire. Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason. If the plastic housing of the battery pack breaks or cracks, immediately discontinue use and do not recharge. Danger! If the battery pack case is cracked or damaged, do not insert into charger. There is a danger of electric shock or electrocution. WARNING! Don t allow any liquid to get inside charger. Electric shock may result. To facilitate cooling of the battery pack after use, avoid placing the charger or battery pack in a warm environment such as in a metal shed, or an un-insulated trailer. 3

Keep unit away from magnetic / electric fields. Avoid prolonged exposure to sun light and heat.. Please dispose of all waste associated with the product responsibly. Do not dismantle / modify this device, doing so will void the warranty. Device Functionality [Bluetooth Audio] Bluetooth 4.1 has a maximum reception distance of 10m without loss. [AUX Input] Connect media devices via the 3.5mm AUX-In Input. [LINE OUT] Connect various LINE OUT devices such as additional speakers. [Built-In Power Bank / USB] Output 5V/1A [Built-In Battery] Powerful, efficient and rechargeable built-in lithium battery. How to use the Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Immediately after turning the product ON, it will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. 1. [ON/OFF]: Power Switch: ON (I) is to turn the product on. OFF (O) is to turn the product off. 2. [-]: Lowers the volume (Can also be done remotely from your bluetooth device). 3. [+]: Increases the volume (Can also be done remotely from your bluetooth device). 4. [MODE]: Pressing the MODE button will switch the speaker to AUX Input, when in AUX mode, the green light will be on. To switch back to Bluetooth mode press the MODE button and the blue light will be on to indicate the user is back in Bluetooth Mode. 5. [MIC]: This device is fitted with a microphone allowing the user to take calls. Please make sure your mobile phone has been configured to work with the Portable Bluetooth Speaker. 6. [Answering the Phone]: press the Answer key on the phone. 7. [Hanging up the Phone]: press the Hang-up key on the phone. 8. [Playing the Music]: press the Play key on the phone / device. 9. [Pausing the Music]: press the Pause key on the phone / device. Charging your Electronic Devices (Phone, Tablet, ipod etc.) 1. Connect the electronic device adaptor cable into the USB 5V DC 1A output port (located at the rear of the unit). 2. Turn on the Portable Bluetooth Speaker by flipping the power switch to the ON (I) position. 3. Connect your electronic device, it will begin charging (confirm on device and the rear of the unit, RED LED should stay solid. 4. Once your device is fully charged remove the charging adaptors and leads from your device and the Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Not recommended to leave devices charging for prolonged hours). Connecting to the Portable Bluetooth Speaker via Bluetooth. 1. When turning on the Portable Bluetooth Speaker, it will automatically enter Bluetooth Mode. 2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth capable mobile / device. 3. Scan for Bluetooth devices with your mobile / device until Kincrome Mini Speaker is located, then select Kincrome Mini Speaker. 4. The Bluetooth capable mobile / device should connect automatically, however if the user is prompted for a password, simply enter Once pairing is complete the user can now begin to use the Portable Bluetooth Speaker. 4

5 Connecting to the Portable Bluetooth Speaker via AUX. 1. Connect the AUX cable to your device and to the Portable Bluetooth Speaker 2. Press the MODE button once on the rear of the unit. 3. The Green LED light should stay on solid when in AUX Mode. Charging the Portable Bluetooth Speaker 1. Insert power cable into the DC Input 5V 1A port located on the rear of the unit. 2. While the device is charging the RED LED will flash. 3. Once the device has fully charged, the LED will stop flashing. Note: This device is fitted with an overcharging protective circuit, allowing the device to stay connected to a power source without damaging the unit. The Portable Bluetooth Speaker takes roughly 10 hours to fully charge. Duration time of the battery may vary each time depending on the usage duration and volume whilst in use. Protecting your Portable Bluetooth Speaker Battery Life. The speaker will automatically power down when its battery is running low. To ensure the user gets the best life cycle from the battery, they are encouraged to keep the device charged when possible. If the product isn t used frequently, please charge it at least once a month. Note: It s important to avoid letting batteries deplete, this can damage the cells of the battery and effect its life cycle. Understanding the Indicator LED s. Please keep in mind, this is only a guide, the LED s may function differently with different devices, such as Apple and Android. USB LED Red LED: When charging other devices via the USB port, the LED will stay a solid RED. Flashing Red LED: The Portable Bluetooth Speaker is currently being charged via the 240V AC charger. BLUETOOTH & AUX LED (11) Blue LED: Shows the device is in Bluetooth mode. Flashing Blue LED: The Portable Bluetooth Speaker is broadcasting a Bluetooth Signal, awaiting connection to a device. Fading Blue LED: The Portable Bluetooth Speaker is transmitting to a device. No Blue LED: Speaker is currently paired to a device that is out of range or is in stand by mode. Green LED: Shows the device is in AUX IN mode. Trouble Shooting Q: Why does the product power off automatically after just being turned on? A: The power of the battery is insufficient. Please connect the unit to the power source and allow enough time for the unit to charge fully. Q: Why will the unit not charge? A: Please only use the power supply that comes with the unit. Other charges may cause damage to the unit and will void your warranty. B: Check to ensure charger is plugged into mains power & switched on. Q: Why is the charging red LED off? A: The RED LED located near the power source input will ONLY display when the unit is being charged or charging other devices via its USB output. B: Under normal function the RED LED does not illuminate. 5

6 Q: Why is there no sound coming from the unit? Make sure the unit is turned ON. Make sure the unit is in the desired MODE, either BLUETOOTH or AUX. If connected via BLUETOOTH, make sure your device has successfully paired. If connected to AUX ensure the cable has been connected to your device and Portable Bluetooth Speaker correctly. Check the volume of the external audio device. Q: Why isn t the LINE OUT function working? Attach the desired LINE OUT device (Such as additional speakers), via the 3.5mm LINE OUT jack. Make sure you have correctly selected the desired MODE, BLUETOOTH or AUX. Check the volume of the external audio device. Q: The Bluetooth fails to connect automatically? Only previously paired device can connect automatically. If the BLUETOOTH capable device has been paired with the unit before, it should automatically connect. Make sure the unit has been paired with the desired BLUETOOTH capable phone / device. Make sure that no other users are connected to the Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Q: There is no sound when in BLUETOOTH Mode? Make sure the unit is turned ON (I). Make sure the unit is in the desired MODE, in this case, BLUETOOTH. Make sure your device has successfully paired via Bluetooth. Check the volume of the external audio device. Q: The buttons have no function or the wrong function. A: Reboot the unit by turning it OFF (O) and ON (I).
