A Campaign Example In our first year we ran a number of successful campaigns for some of Scotland s largest tourism. organisations including VisitScotland and CalMac, have featured widely in the media and national press including The Scotsman and have secured our own fortnightly travel column in The Scots Magazine online. Our #Isleathon collaboration with CalMac to visit and promote a number of Scottish islands over one weekend gained over 4.5m impressions on Twitter and engaged an international audience of over 1.1m. By utilising further social media channels, continuing coverage post trip and the creation of a number of original blog posts for the CalMac website and the Scotlanders individual websites; the final campaign reach was far in excess the 1.1m audience reached over the weekend. A Twitter chat was also created prior to the trip to create awareness of the #Isleathon concept and encourage the use of the hashtag. Due to its original concept and success, the campaign was picked up by The Scotsman who ran a feature on before and after the trip. 3
