11 Constant repetition of single method of teaching would create dullness about the subject and would destroy the interest of the students. Methods of teaching must be designed to foster independence of judgment and originality of thought from students
12 Individual differences in learning will not attract only one method of teaching in a class. Effective teaching requires meticulous planning and execution of the teaching plan with full commitment. Use of all the five senses of knowledge of students results in better learning of the students.hence, a judicious mixture of theory and practice in teaching is necessary.

16 Presentation Method of Teaching (PMT) Teaching through telling (talking) explaining describing enumerating narrating showing demonstrating dramatizing or through some other means
17 Utilized in classroom, in auditorium or in a variety of locations through the use of modern means of communications such as OHP, Radio, Television, Slides, Films, LCD or Videos or with multimedia format.
18 Individualized Method of Learning (IML) A student works at his own pace. Student is actively involved in performing specific learning tasks, and experiences success in learning.
19 Interactive Method of Teaching (lmt) Interaction (work) with teachers as well as their co learners (classmates). The interaction through Questions and answers Discussions Exchange of thoughts Students and teachers get opportunities to know each other, develop cooperative spirit and solve problems by working together.

21 Lecture Method Method of teaching by which the teacher makes oral presentation of the content and the students usually takes notes.
22 Limitations of Lecture Method
23 An effective lecture requires both extensive research and preparation. An effective delivery skills are required to maintain students' attention and motivation.
24 Seminar Method Seminar is "a form of class organization in higher education in which a group of advanced graduate students engage in research or advanced study under the general direction of one or more staff members for discussion of problems of mutual interest".
25 Limitations of Seminars
26 Participation from everyone Students may lose interest in reading, thinking that information shared through seminar is sufficient.
27 Group Discussion Method Method of learning through open discussion of topics in a small group
28 Workshop Method In service improvement activity planned and carried on by teachers and administrators to attack and study problems of such scope that many are interested.
29 Tutorial Method A meeting between a teacher and a single student to discuss some work prepared and submitted by the student. A tutorial class consists of a smaller number (say 6 to 8) of students
30 Method of Role Playing, Simulation, Teaching Games
31 Limitations Availability of resources and resource persons. Creates a different atmosphere and requires different conventions in the classroom and hence consumes more time. Ensuring accuracy and relevance of what is learnt is a challenging task.
32 Conclusion Teaching should not be like easy easy repeated, difficult difficult omitted and learning is completed But it should be `a lot is taught and lot is learnt.
