Utilizes resources in ways that consistently produce wise and desired results for the common good Fosters creativity, stimulating openness to new ideas and a passion for learning Recognizes and acts upon opportunities to be more efficient Seeks and shares expertise on best practices Keeps a solution-oriented approach when handling conflict or problems (Section B) Position Specific Duties & Responsibilities #1 Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Assists MIS management in the establishment of strategic county-wide are network plans. #2 Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Provides specific advice regarding the flow of data over a distributed, multi-platform network involving microcomputers and minicomputers.
3 #3 Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Researches, plans for, recommends and implements new networking technology as required, and within allocated budget. #4 Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Manages memory usage of the network, network printing, and network technical resources. #5 Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security. #6 Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities Functions as network and internet/intranet security officer and the highest troubleshooting resource for the network function and recommends security and network monitoring software.
