2 The rugged standard in portable power distribution. The Nomad Power Distribution system provides a rugged and reliable temporary power solution for construction sites, indoor and outdoor events. Each Nomad product has the flexibility to interconnect with any other product in the range, or to be used as an individual power centre. Nomad products are supplied with a range of outlets to suit most requirements. In the larger models there is a combination of three phase 400V outlets for welders, motors and machinery, and single phase outlets for power tools, lighting or other 230V devices. Quality All CEE fittings are from world leading, German manufacturer Mennekes. INTRODUCTION / features Their powertop extra plugs and sockets feature slip proof grips, high impact resistant plastic and simple connections. Safety All NOMAD units are protected by quality, General Electric MCB s, RCD s and RCBO s. Safeguard your power leads against unauthorised use, by using a plug guard (pictured). Flexibility Because NOMAD is made in New Zealand we can change colours, configurations, add labels, logos or identification tags to suit your requirements. 2

3 NOMAD R SERIES Designed to protect the tradesman and site worker, the compact Nomad R Series products are supplied with a range of socket and plug configurations to suit the varying requirements of a modern building site. The Nomad R10 complies with AS/NZS3012 and AS/NZS3190 electrical standards and features IP55 weather protected sockets. All Sockets are 30mA RCD and overcurrent protected. Approved for use on construction and building sites. 4 NOMAD interconnection outlets NOMAD S32 WT: 10kg INPUT: 1 X 32A, 400V, 3PH + E + N The Nomad S32 is the most versatile product in the Nomad range, providing a number of single phase outlets for common power tools, lighting and motors, and can be interconnected with any other Nomad unit. Supplied with 6x 10A outlets and 1x 16A outlet. All socket outlets are RCD protected. 5 NOMAD 250 series The Nomad 250 series is the main distribution hub for the Nomad system. It provides the entry point for the incoming supply to the construction site. From the Nomad 250 any number of other Nomad products can be connected providing power to the whole site. Metering, higher amperage and different socket configurations are all available as part of the Nomad 250 series. The leads will interconnect the products in the Nomad range together providing a versatile power distribution system. Nomad Interconnecting Leads are supplied with Mennekes IEC60309 Plugs and Connectors and heavy duty XLPE Insulated Cable. For added protection against the rigors of construction site use the cable is screened. If you have an ongoing requirement we will create a bill of materials, give the unit a code and contract manufacture as required. In 1999 we won the New Zealand Defence Award for our portable distribution system for their field units.
