1 The Venue Set in 8 acres of idyllic grounds, we can offer our guests a beautiful setting alongside our well appointed meeting rooms. We have 6 flexible meeting rooms for up to 72 guests and great space outside for team building activities. We are conveniently located just off the A483 and just 2 miles outside of Oswestry with fast access to Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Chester and Telford. We want your conference, training or meeting event at Sweeney to be about you and your delegates so we take care of everything else. We can provide you with an environment that means your delegates are focused and stimulated. Contained within this pack are all the details you will need to plan the perfect meeting, this along with the help of an event organiser. Enclosed is a short checklist for the smooth running of your event. Our catering is second to none, from snacks to gala dinners your delegates will not be disappointed. If your delegates require accommodation, we have 11 individually designed bedrooms along with a self catering cottage to ensure they have a relaxing stay with us. Conference Booking Check List
2 Meeting Rooms The Netherton Room This is our largest function suite which is on the ground floor allowing easy access to all of our facilities. This room can be split into 2 rooms if required. The dimensions for this room as one large room are: 725cm x 1105cm x 525cm The dimensions of the room split are: 725cm x 580cm Layout Option Numbers Theatre Style 72 Boardroom 30 U-Shape 22 Classroom 20 The Conference Room This room is located on the first floor of the hotel, with wonderful natural light and double aspect views of the grounds. 3 The East Wing Room 1 The East Wing is more suitable for a smaller meeting. This room is located in a very quiet part of the hotel. Please note: This room is located down 2 steps The dimensions for this room are: 588cm x 449cm Room Layout Numbers Theatre Style 18 Boardroom 16 Classroom 8 The East Wing Room 2 The East Wing room 2 is suitable for a smaller meeting or for use as a breakout room. Please note: This room is located down 2 steps The dimensions for the room are: 433cm x 246cm Room Layout Numbers Boardroom 8 The Gallery The Gallery is more suitable for a smaller conference or an informal meeting with seating for up to 6 guests. The Cottage Located adjacent to the hotel, our cottage provides the perfect private environment for meetings and business gatherings. The cottage can accommodate up to 8 people.
