Golf Courses Trump International Doonbeg Opened for general play in 2002, Trump International Doonbeg in Co. Clare is the creation of Kiawah Resort Associates in association with Landmark International. They have presented legendary designer and twice Open Champion, Greg Norman with a true links site of soaring, grassy dunes rising almost 100 feet above the crashing shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean. In much the same way that Kingsbarns Golf Links in Scotland and the Old Head Golf Links have burst onto the list of the world's finest links courses, Doonbeg is now recognised as being in the same category. Tralee Golf Club (Old Course) Representing the first European design of Arnold Palmer, Tralee Golf Club in south western Ireland is one of the most spectacularly beautiful golf courses you will ever encounter. Having completed his masterpiece, Palmer commented: I have never come across a piece of land so ideally suited for the building of a golf course. I am happy that we have one of the world's great links here. With views of the Atlantic and white sandy beaches from almost every hole, this superb layout earns rave reviews from all who play it.

4 Lahinch Golf Club (Old Course) One of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland, Lahinch Golf Club is also one of the most respected links courses in the world. Set right on the Atlantic coastline, Lahinch is exposed to the ocean through all her moods and has been moulded and shaped over the centuries by nature's harsh elements and an occasional touch of human genius. Lahinch, with its towering sand dunes, undulating fairways, rolling greens and fair share of blind shots, is the perfect natural golfing terrain a true links in the traditional meaning of the word. Lahinch also contains one of the most distinctive holes in the world in 6th (Dell). The green on this par 3 is nestled between two steep dunes and is completely blind from the tee. The line here is over a stone moved along the face of the fronting dune, while the outcome can be very much in the lap of the golfing gods. Dromoland Castle Golf Club Dromoland's precious acres were entrusted to architects Ron Kirby and Joe Carr, both with outstanding pedigrees in their fields, to create a course for the 21st century. Between them, they have crafted a masterpiece. Watched over by the baronial splendour of Dromoland Castle, the fairways thread their way through vast stands of oak, beech and pines, while at times, the designers entice us with flirtations with the marshes, the River Rine and the formidable Dromoland Lough. Limerick Golf Club Limerick Golf Club is located at Ballyclough, on the southern outskirts of Limerick City and is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland, founded in the same year as the Golfing Union of Ireland, The course and clubhouse are located on the original site of Roxboro Castle and grounds. The club boasts a mature parkland course, with a number of holes designed by Dr. Alister McKenzie, architect of Lahinch and Augusta National, and others by John D. Harris. The current layout measures 6500 yards in length and has a par of 72.

It contains examples of all the major habitats within the Burren: Limestone Pavement, Calcareous grassland, Hazel scrub, Ash/hazel woodland, Turloughs, Lakes, Petrifying springs, cliffs and Fen

Wiren was a collegiate conference champion, won the South Florida Seniors PGA title, the South Florida longdriving championship, played in the USGA Senior Open and the PGA Senior Championship and has won the World Hickory Championship. He has written or participated in the writing of over 250 magazine articles and 14 books including The PGA Teaching Manual, the most influential book on golf instruction in history. His popular and award winning, When Golf Is a Ball, was selected as the best golf book in the year Gary has taught in 31 countries, historian with one of the most interesting golf collections in the world, speaker including multiple international Golf Summits and the Keynote Speaker at the 1st. World Scientific Golf Congress held in St. Andrews, and for many years has been a recognized fitness proponent for golf. He is also the senior Director of Instruction for all Trump Golf Properties.
