Parks are day use only and open from sunrise to sunset unless posted otherwise. SANDHILL COUNTY PARK (30 acres) NO PETS ALLOWED INSIDE PARK 1000 NE Sand Hill Road, Belfair Highway 3 to Clifton Lane, through to State Route 300, Right on Sand Hill Road, approximately 1 mile to park next to Sand Hill Elementary School March October One full-sized baseball field, six youth size baseball/softball fields Seasonal Concession (March August) On-site Caretaker March-July: Ball fields are used by North Mason Little League, North Mason Fast Pitch and North Mason Pee Wee leagues Reservations Required for Ball field Use 2. WILLIAM O. HUNTER PARK (.15 Acre) Clifton Lane and Old Belfair Highway, Belfair Picnic Table Bench Mason Transit Bus Stop ADA Accessible Picnicking Transit Connection 3. HARVEY RENDSLAND COUNTY PARK (8 acres) (JIGGS LAKE) NE Belfair Tahuya Road, Tahuya Drive toward Tahuya on Northshore Road, take a right on Belfair Tahuya Road, park is on the right after about one mile. Year around None mainly hiking, open space, and access to Jiggs Lake. Good spot to take a walk and relax, park is undeveloped

MENARD S LANDING (.40 acres) NE North Shore Road, Tahuya Highway 3 to Belfair, onto North Shore Road past Belfair State Park, approximately 19 miles next to Rendsland Creek on left hand side of road Covered Gazebo Picnic Areas Sani-Can Boat Launch for hand-carry boat/kayak or other small watercraft Limited parking on left hand side of road, additional parking in dirt lot on right just before main access gate. Next to Rendsland Creek State of Washington shellfish beach (oyster enhanced). Be sure to check Washington State Shellfish Regulations before harvesting 5. FOOTHILLS PARK (80 acres) 241 N Foothills Park Road, Hoodsport State Route 101, West on Lake Cushman Road (State Route 119), 1 mile to Foothills Park Road, turn right, Foothills Park is on left March September, 9 am to dusk Children s play area, Open field area On-Site Caretaker Good site for family or business picnic and field games Reservations recommended 6. UNION COUNTY PARK (1.92 acres) 61 E Port Townsend Street, Union Off of McReavy Road turn on 5 th Street, left on Port Townsend Street, Union County Park is on left March September Small Covered Shelter Day Use Picnic Area Children s Play Area One Small Baseball/Softball Field Small Two-Hoop Basketball Court Good Site for Group Picnics, Birthday Parties, Reunions, Etc. Shelter Reservations Recommended

4 7. UNION COUNTY BOAT LAUNCH (.16 acres) 5093 E State Route 106, Union State Route 106 to Union. Boat Launch is next to Hood Canal Marina Boat Launch Portable Toilet Salt Water Access to Hood Canal Great site to launch kayaks for access to Skokomish River and Hood Canal LOW TIDE ADVISORY FOR LAUNCH/LOAD NO PARKING AT THIS SITE 8. MASON LAKE COUNTY PARK (17.36 acres) 6011 E Mason Lake Drive West, Grapeview Take State Rt. 3 to Mason Benson Road, Right on Trails Road, Left on Mason Lake Drive W; approximately.5 mile to Mason Lake County Park Boat Launch is open all year Restrooms are open April - October Picnic Areas Wooded Area Boat Launch Day Picnic Ample parking for vehicle with trailer 9. WATSON WILDWOOD VIEW PARK (36 acres) Watson Lane, Belfair From Allyn, turn onto North Bay Road toward Victor, just past the fire station, turn left onto E Victor Road to Corbin Road, turn left onto Corbin Road which turns into Watson Lane None Open Space

TRUMAN GLICK COUNTY PARK (35.46 acres) NO HUNTING IN PARK 1291 W Ford Road, Matlock State Route 101 to Shelton-Matlock Road, through Matlock to Deckerville Road, Right on Ford Road, ¾ of a mile, Left to Park March September Large Covered Shelter Barbecue Grills Vault Toilets Wooden Arch Bridge Over Decker Creek Nature Trails Good Area for Family Reunions, Group Picnics, Weddings, Receptions, Etc. Access to Decker Creek Shelter Reservations Highly Recommended 11. SUNSET BLUFF PARK (36 acres) E Sunset Road, Shelton Drive to the end of E Sunset Road, Shelton Water Access to Oakland Bay Undeveloped Natural Open Space 12. MASON COUNTY SKATE PARK (.50 acres) 110 Wallace Kneeland Boulevard, Shelton From State Route 101 take exit to Wallace Kneeland Boulevard, on left next to Wal-Mart Parking Lot, adjacent to Oakland Bay Junior High School (closed during Shelton School District School hours except youth with parent or guardian and adults). MASON COUNTY RECREATION AREA (MCRA) (40 acres) NO PETS ALLOWED INSIDE PARK 2100 E Johns Prairie Road, Shelton From State Route 101, Wallace Kneeland Boulevard onto Johns Prairie Road, 1.8 miles from 4-way stop; Park is on right. From State Route 3, right onto Johns Prairie Road; park is on left. Park Office Monday Friday 8 am 4:30 pm Batting Cages February October 9 am Dark Park Recreation Facilities March October 9 am - Dark Children s Play Area Picnic Areas Covered Batting Cages (4-stations; 2 softball, 2 baseball) Two full-sized baseball fields, five youth baseball softball fields Seasonal Concession (March August) On-site Caretaker March June: Ball fields used by Shelton High School (home field for all fastpitch & JV Baseball games), Oakland Bay Junior High School (home field for all games), Babe Ruth Baseball, Mason County Youth Baseball and Fastpitch Associations June August: Co-Ed & Men s Slow-pitch Softball leagues June August: Most weekends offer some type of tournament activity Reservations Required for Ball field Use 14. OAKLAND BAY HISTORICAL PARK (81.87 acres) NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS PARK Note: 1570 E Agate Bay Road, Shelton Highway 3 Agate Road, follow Agate Road past Pioneer School and park entrance is about one half mile past the school on the right. (across from E Jullian Road) Open Space with limited paths and trails Access to Malaney Creek and Oakland Bay Vault Toilet Site of Malaney Historical Homestead Good spot to take a walk and enjoy Malaney Creek and Oakland Bay. Site of annual Native Plant Workshop sponsored by Mason Conservation District and Capital Land Trust Development of this park is ongoing. Grand Opening is scheduled for April 21, 2013.

LATIMER S LANDING BOAT LAUNCH (.59 acres) 51 E Harstine Bridge Road, Shelton State Route 3 to Pickering Road toward Harstine Island, on left before bridge Portable Toilet Picnic Tables Boat launch area to Pickering Passage, Case Inlet and Puget Sound Boarding Float and Dock Beach Access 17. LATIMER S LANDING PARK (2.5 acres) 3291 Pickering Road, Shelton State Route 3 to Pickering Road toward Harstine Island, park is on the left of boat launch Picnic Tables Portable Toilet Parking for Latimer s Landing Boat Launch Picnicking Beach Access 18. JACOBY (SHORECREST) PARK (2.80 acres 120 E Shorecrest Parkway, Shelton State Route 3 to Agate Road, Right on Crestview Drive, Left on Parkway Boulevard, Right on Crescent Drive Picnic Area Small Boat Launch Salt Water Access to Hammersley Inlet (low tide advisory for launch/load of boats) NO SHELLFISH HARVEST

WALKER COUNTY PARK (5.04 acres) 2400 SE Walker Park Road, Shelton Olympic Highway to Arcadia Road, From Arcadia Road take Left on Walker Park Road, Park is on right March October Covered Shelter Barbecue Grills Day Use Picnic Area Children s Play Area On-Site Caretaker Good Site for Group Picnics, Birthday Parties, Weddings, Reunions, Etc. Trail to Beach Part of Cascadia Marine Trail Reservations for Shelter Highly Recommended NO SHELLFISH HARVEST 20. COULTER CREEK PICNIC AREA (55 Acres) Activities North Bay Road and State Route 302, Belfair State Route 3 to Allyn, Turn Right on North Bay Road, Drive 1.6 miles to park.
