1 ICT Network Analyst The Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust has the responsibility and privilege of managing two of Australia s premier sporting venues. The Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium host more than 100 events and attract more than 1.4 million fans a year. Come March 2015, Allianz Stadium will boast the largest high desnsity superscreens in any rectangular stadium,as well as high density free wi-fi and a 1200-IPTV screen network. The challenge is to make the most of the new technology and revolutionise the match day experience of our partner sports and their many thousands of fans. The ICT Network Analyst be responsible for the administration, configuration, upgrade, system analysis, tuning and support of core Cisco network infrastructure. This includes the day-to-day running of the data centre, administering the operating environments, configuring and tuning of the various enterprise servers, maintaining security and access policies, and supporting all back office related systems, hardware and operating software. This role will also be required to complete project work as part of the Connected Stadium Team which is responsible for defining the Trust's digital vision and strategy and overseeing the operational activities necessary for the technology and digital activation of our venues and events. The ideal applicant will have at least three to four years demonstrated experience in a ICT discipline including sound experience in database and software design and development and have a degree in Information Technology or similar. Specialist ICT Training including MS Certifications, Cisco Infrastructure training and Cisco Stadium Vision Director is also required. The role includes the day-to-day running of the data centre, administering the operating environments, configuring and tuning of the various enterprise servers, maintaining security and access policies, and supporting all back office related systems, hardware and operating software. This role performs duties as part of the Connected Stadium Team which is responsible for defining the Trust s digital vision and strategy and overseeing the operational activities necessary for the technology and digital activation of our venues & events. 2. Key Accountabilities This position is a specialised role within the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust s ICT area. Managing and supporting the Network Infrastructure Cisco, HP & Alcatel-Lucent. Maintaining and improving the existing LAN / WAN and VPN environments. Provide professional advice, recommendations and support to the ICT Manager on the development, performance and enhancement of the Trust s IT systems, hardware and infrastructure to ensure that business strategies and initiatives are supported. Liaise with external vendors for new and existing IT infrastructure systems.

3 Performing efficient administration of network equipment, including Wireless infrastructures and 3rd party connections. Actively maintain systems, servers and related infrastructure and documentation to ensure it is kept up to date and ensure regular maintenance procedures are established, documented and carried out in an effective and robust manner. Documents include: network and fibre diagrams, server configuration specifications and equipment inventory register. Implementing and maintaining appropriate security procedures to ensure a high level of data and network security. Check network systems in order to optimise performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures. Coordinate protocols for operation within multi-user IT networks that provide voice, data and text transmission. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, which ensure the efficient and effective administration of department functions. Set and maintain security and access rights to systems in compliance with Information Security Management System Framework. Assist in the development and implementation of Disaster Recovery Planning. Hardware Asset Management. Level 2 Support - Respond to user problems via Helpdesk and resolve network system difficulties, ensuring there is minimal end user disruption. Administer, configure and support Cisco Routers Switches and firewalls both operationally and during implementation. Administer, configure and support WAN/LAN technologies Cisco. Implementing and supporting wireless solutions Cisco. 3. Key Challenges Meeting numerous deadlines and applying operational guidelines for the maintenance & development of ICT services and infrastructure. Responsible for the maintenance and operational status of all ICT Corporate Services and event day system requirements with a focus on Cisco Connected Stadium solution. 4. Key Relationships Internal Day to day contact with the ICT Manager and Network, Security & Systems Analyst to report on progress, highlight and work towards rectifying current issues. Regular contact with Department Managers, other Trust staff and their teams on ICT. Regular contact with all Trust staff on ICT issues. External Relationships Liaise with external vendors or suppliers for the provision of support for the records and ICT services. Other Customer Relationships On site venue hirers and vendors.

Consultation should be sought for major decisions. Collaboration is required within the ICT Dept. and mentor junior ICT staff. Collaboration is also required with Senior Managers and service providers. 8. Qualifications/Experience Degree in IT/or similar. 3-4 years or more experience in ICT disciplines. Specialised ICT training incl. MS Certifications, Cisco Infrastructure training and Cisco StadiumVision Director. Advanced networking & database skills. 2 years experience in Database & Software design and development. 2 years experience in network & systems design. 9. Workplace Health and Safety All workers are required to follow the Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust s Work Health & Safety Policy and associated health and safety procedures as a condition of employment.
