We use Paraben-free preservatives that are used in baby care formulations and are thus very gentle on the skin. Most commercial products use Paraben based preservatives. A number of researchers and skin care experts have discovered that this preservative can be toxic. It can increase the tendency of developing estrogen - dependent diseases like breast tumors, decrease the sperm cell count among males, promote skin allergic reactions like contact dermatitis and rosacea, spur the development of skin cancer and may cause problems to foetal development for pregnant women. b. All our products are synthetic surfactant (SLS, Cocobetaine) free. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (or Sodium Laureth Sulphate) is an ingredient employed in most Soaps, Body Washes and Shampoos for 3 reasons - it's cheap, it makes the mixture foam well and thickens it appreciably.
