Simply cmplete the n-line trade-in claim frm, prvide prf f purchase/lease and return an ld eligible HP r Nn-HP Prduct fr recycling within the stipulated timelines t receive yur Mail-in rebate! Purchases and invices dated prir t r after this timeframe will nt be eligible fr this prmtin. Resellers may claim n behalf f the end-user custmer prvided the Trade-in Rebate has been passed n t the custmer at the pint f purchase and the invice(s) indicates the rebate was applied t the Eligible Prduct(s). Reseller will be required t trade-in the eligible HP r nn-hp prduct(s) as defined belw n behalf f the end-user t be eligible fr a rebate. Cmbining with special pricing r ther prmtins This ffer MAY NOT be cmbined (r "stacked") with ther HP prmtinal ffers r trade-in prgrams. Rebates as defined belw r with channel specific prgrams that have been apprved fr cmbinability by HP. In the case where there is a Big Deal/Cntract pricing, custmer can take the higher f the tw discunts. Prgram Rules and Requirements End user custmers are eligible t participate in this Prgram. Eligible HP Authrized Resellers ( Eligible Resellers ) may als participate in this Prgram and submit claims as the agent, and n behalf, f their Custmer prvided Trade-in Rebate(s) has been passed n t the custmer at the pint-fpurchase. Invices must shw the Trade-in Rebate was applied t the Eligible Prduct. Reseller will be respnsible fr the trade-in f ld prduct(s) fr recycling. An HP Authrized Reseller will have a valid Outlet ID Number issued by HP. Reseller eligibility is determined by HP based n reseller s purchasing level. If yu are a reseller and have questins abut yur eligibility please cntact yur HP accunt manager fr details. Only ne cash back allwance may be claimed per new prduct purchased r leased by the custmer. This is a ne-fr-ne prduct trade nly. The custmer must purchase r lease ne eligible HP printer, and trade-in ne HP r nn-hp eligible prduct t qualify. Leased prduct: The prmtin is available fr new lease agreements entered int between an HP Authrized Reseller and an end-user custmer if the fllwing cnditins are met: The new lease agreement must be fr at least a ne-(1) year term The sales invice submitted with the claim must list the leasing services f the item being sld (e.g. fr lease f an HP Designjet XXX applicable (date) thrugh (date)) and a cpy f the lease must be attached t the sales agreement; If the lease agreement cannt be supplied, an invice that references the serial numbers f the new units that are assciated with the new lease agreement must be submitted. This prmtin is available t Canadian custmers nly. Trade-in prducts d nt have t be in wrking cnditin. The HP Cash-in Trade-In prgram is available nly n eligible new printers that have been purchased)/leased directly frm HP r thrugh authrized HP resellers. The prmtin is nt valid n refurbished r dem prducts. HP PurchasEdge prgram pints cannt be cmbined with HP Cash-In Trade-In cash back allwance rebate. Trade-in Prf-f-Ownership Requirements By agreeing t these terms and cnditins, the custmer warrants that all trade-in equipment r the sale and shipment f such equipment must nt vilate any applicable laws, statutes, rdinances r regulatins, including exprt laws. The custmer is respnsible fr cmplying with any and all such laws. End-user custmer(s) must warrant that they hld legal title t the trade-in prduct(s), free f liens r security interest, and has the legal right t transfer the trade-in prduct(s) t HP. Title t the trade-in prduct(s) fr recycling transfers t HP n the date and time the trade-in prduct(s) fr recycling are shipped. Yu will be required t prvide a pick-up date n earlier than three (3) business days and n later than thirty (30) calendar days frm the cntact date. Once a pick-up date has been determined, shipping instructins and a shipping label will be ed t yu fr shipment f the trade-in prduct(s). The claimant must return the trade-in prduct(s) fr recycling in accrdance with the instructins prvided by the prgram. Trade-in prducts must be shipped within 30 days f HP Custmer Service cntacting yu t cnfirm eligibility r n later than January 15, 2016 (whichever date cmes first). Custmer is respnsible fr packaging the trade-in prduct and affixing the shipping label prvided by the pick-up date and time. The shipping label is valid until the agreed upn pick-up date and time nly (see Trade-in Pickup and Delivery belw fr mre details). A cheque will be issued, if eligible, within 6-8 weeks frm the date the trade-in fr recycling prducts are received. If payment has nt been received after 8 weeks f shipment, please cntact Custmer Service by calling All incmplete claims will be autmatically rejected, and must be cmpleted and resubmitted within thirty (30) days prcessing. A claim is cnsidered incmplete if it matches ne r mre f the fllwing criteria: - missing any infrmatin requested n the claim frm - missing serial number f new printer(s) purchased - missing prf f purchase dcuments - invice with invalid purchase date - invalid r missing trade-in prduct(s) and/r traded in prduct(s) fr recycle that are nt shipped within the 30 day limit - custmer address is utside Canada - duplicate serial numbers Eligible Resellers Claiming n Behalf f the End-user: When submitting yur claim as utlined abve, please include the signed Acknwledgment and Release frm signed by Reseller and Custmer AND the invice shwing the upfrnt Trade-in Rebate amunt. Failure t prvide bth will result in prcessing and payment delays. A cpy f the Acknwledgement and Release Frm can be dwnladed frm the prmtin website Reseller shuld cllect and ship the trade-in prduct n behalf f the custmer t ensure prper prcessing. Trade-in Pickup and Delivery The trade-in prducts must be lcated in Canada. The custmer is respnsible fr the de-installatin f the prduct and must prperly prepare the trade-in fr shipment. HP will pay fr shipping and recycling the eligible trade-in prducts. Sme restrictins apply. The custmer is respnsible fr paying fr prper packaging t ship the trade-in unit. The custmer is respnsible fr agreeing t a pick-up date fr the trade-in unit within the eligible perid. Custmer agrees t ntify HP Custmer Service in the event f any changes t the agreed upn pick-up date and time with sufficient ntice t reschedule a pick-up date and time within the stipulated timelines. If the custmer fails t meet the deadlines, the claim will be deemed ineligible, and subsequently rejected.

5 Once yur trade-in prduct is shipped, HP cannt, and des nt guarantee, that it will be able t hnur any request fr return f the prduct and/r any data r infrmatin cntained in such prduct. All ink cartridges, media and ther cnsumables must be remved frm the printer(s) prir t shipping. They shuld nt be included in the same package as the Trade-in Prduct. T learn abut HP Supplies recycling please visit T ensure receipt f the cash back amunt abve, it is very imprtant t prperly package the printer fllwing these packing instructins: Package the item(s) in a sturdy cardbard bx designed specifically fr shipping. Shipping tape that is 2-3 inches wide shuld be used. We d nt recmmend using masking r cellphane tape. Tape all edges n the sides, tp and bttm t make sure there are n rugh edges that culd be snagged by autmated mail prcessing equipment. Attach the prepaid shipping label t the utside f the package. Use a piece f clear shipping tape ver the tp f the label. It is imprtant t use ur shipping label, as it will be used t expedite tracking, identificatin and increase the speed f returns. Receipt and validatin f trade-ins The trade-in prduct details and cnditin must match what was prvided t HP accrding t the Prgram instructins. If they d nt match, HP reserves the right t return the trade-in prduct, if pssible. If the prduct is returned, the Cash Back Designee will be respnsible fr any and all assciated shipping csts. Trade-in prducts fr recycling d nt have t be in wrking cnditin. The claimant warrants that the trade-in prducts are free f any liens r encumbrances, including third-party sftware which may nt be transferred r fr which ryalties are due. The claimant shall indemnify HP frm all claims r lsses sustained by HP as a result f any breach f this warranty. Risk f lss fr the trade-in prduct(s) shall remain with the claimant and/r end-user until delivery f the same t HP's designated carrier. The delivery f the trade-in prduct(s) t HP's carrier shall be final and effective t transfer title f such prducts t HP free and clear f all liens and ther encumbrances. If accepted fr the trade-in ffer the prduct may nt be returned t the custmer. HP shall nt be respnsible fr the lss, safekeeping, r maintenance in cnfidence f any data resident n the trade-in prducts. Title f the trade-in prduct passes t HP at the earlier f either the Cash Back Designee receiving the trade-in credit r cash back allwance, OR HP's carrier has picked up the trade-in prduct. HP reserves the right t delay payment, and/r review all claims that require investigatin due t suspicius activity. Transmissin Errrs HP makes every effrt t ensure the accuracy f all infrmatin that yu receive in relatin t yur trade-in prduct. In the event f typgraphical errrs, technical inaccuracies, r prduct pricing errrs r missins, HP reserves the right t crrect the errr within ten (10) calendar days f the trade. If HP crrects the errr, HP will prvide yu with the fllwing ptins: (1) t prceed with the transactin based n the crrected infrmatin; r (2) t cancel yur transactin Fraudulent Claims Submitting false claims fr prgram benefits will disqualify the claim, make the claimant(s) ineligible fr future participatin in HP prmtinal prgrams, and may subject claimant t civil liability r criminal prsecutin.
