1 Exercising Dominion Through Meditation Phil 4:8, Gen 24:63, Isa 55:8-11 Like imagination, thoughts are very essential. They are the most basic elements for the creation of anything on earth. In the beginning, when God created all things through His Word, His words were evidently preceded by His thoughts (Gen 1:2-3). God's words and His great works are a product of His deep thoughts (Ps 92:5). As humans, we connect with the spiritual realm through our thoughts, so our creative ability is a function of the level or quality of our thoughts. To meditate is to think or reflect deeply, focusing the mind on a single idea, concept, subject or issue. As Christians, meditating on God's Word, with the help of the Holy Spirit, lifts our thoughts to God's supernatural frequency. This enables us to receive revelation from God to overcome our challenges and create new realities. Today's discussion focuses on how and why we must meditate in the Word of God in order to exercise dominion on the earth. Discussion What do people find most appealing to meditate upon, and why? Discuss. God wants us to take delight in and meditate on His Word day and night so our thoughts may move up to the level of His thoughts (Psalm 1:1-3). In this way, we perceive higher dimensions of reality as a first step to the transformation we need. Below are tips to help us meditate effectively: Take time to pray, and pray in the Spirit. Jeremiah 33:3, Mark 1:35 (Engage your imagination and expect to receive new thoughts drop into your mind) Set aside time for meditation DAILY. Gen 24:63, Josh 1:8. Post pictures of your goals and dreams around you. Gen 15:5 Keep a dream book. Write down your future outlook Hab 2:2-4 (Compose a vivid description of one day in your life five years from now) Keep confessing God's Word for you as it gets more real in you. Ps 39:3, Isa 8:20 Meditation in God's Word is a powerful process through which we can connect to the invincible supernatural realm of God's thoughts. As you deliberately yield your mind to God in the place of meditation, God is able to download ideas and inspiration through your spirit and into your mind that will make you dominate your world. You will succeed in Jesus' name.

3 You and Your Thoughts. Phil 4:8 (MSG), Psalm: 92:5 As young people we can have powerful creative thoughts but when not controlled, they could become negative. In God's kingdom, meditation raises our thinking to God's frequency (Isa 55:10-11). This can be attained by the influence of the Holy Spirit and God's Word. Today our discussion will be on how to think like God. The quality of your life can't be greater than the quality your thoughts. Do you agree? Discuss. You need the influence of the Holy Spirit to be able to think like God. Here are some points to help you: Pray: when you pray, engage your mind. Set aside time to meditate/ think daily. (Josh 1:8) Dream in the Word (meditate on what God has said about you and not what the TV and Magazine says). Place your Goals and pictures before you daily. Gen 30: Have a dream book: write an essay about a day in your life the next 5 years. Conclusion: Instead you thrill God's Word; you chew in the Scripture Day and Night. You are a tree planted in Eden bearing fresh fruit every month. Never dropping a leaf always, in blossom.

4 18th - 23rd Nov., 2013 Meditation, a key to Business Success Philippians 4:8, Isaiah 55:8-9 We have established that Imagination is the dream machine that God has given to man which enables him to overcome limitations and fulfill his dominion mandate. The basic raw materials for creating anything are thoughts. Indeed, the quality of your life cannot be better than the quality of your thoughts. It is in the realm of thoughts that you relate with the supernatural. Meditation is deep and focused thinking. It is very important because it raises our thoughts to God's frequency and is a way that God has provided for us to connect with Him. Those who don't understand this subject themselves to abuse by contacting the spiritual realm through psychoactive substances such as Alcohol, Drugs, etc. which alter the state of man's consciousness and ultimately ruins God's plan for their lives. Our focus in this study will center on how we can realize business success through the creative power of Thoughts and our Meditation. Take a look at five years from today, where would you want your business to be? Be explicit and detailed in your description. Meditation raises our thoughts to God's frequency. Below are ways you can use the power of meditation to achieve business goals and targets: Set aside time for meditation daily - always process life through God's word. Find out what His word says about every issue and resolve to live accordingly. As Christian Business Practitioners, it is important to allow the Holy Spirit to influence our thoughts knowing that great works are the products of deep thoughts. Despite our busy schedules, we must create time for meditation as the quality of our business success is determined by the quality of time spent meditating.
