5 Devices Usage Trends The consumerization of IT is growing among organizations of all sizes as organizations support flexible work environments and growing numbers of remote employees. In fact, a startling 67% of companies have a mobilized workforce and 41% have already implemented bring your own device policies. 12.2% of the companies support 3 or more devices out of which 7.2% have 5 or more devices. The number of devices by company size revealed an interesting pattern. 27% of companies with 4,999 employees and less have 3 or more devices. 13.4% of those same companies have 5 or more devices. Surprisingly, companies with 100 1,000 employees had the broadest support for device access. A full 7.0% of their employees leverage five or more devices. This is compared to organizations with 1,001 4,999 where only 3.4% take advantage of 5 or more devices.
