1 Think Tank Meeting : Colon Capsule Endoscopy. 3 rd International colon capsule expert meeting: Status update and future opportunities March 30-31, 2015 : / Italy Chairmen: Guido Costamagna / Deirdre McNamara Secretary: Cesare Hassan / Cristiano Spada Background: The ESGE published the first guideline on Colon Capsule Endoscopy (CCE) in 2012 to guide new users about indications, bowel prep and reporting, based on results of the first expert meeting. In the same year, there was the second meeting focusing on running clinical trials to understand which data are planned and which are still missing Goal: Show current status of evidence and elaborate barriers and future opportunities of Colon Capsule Endoscopy. Understand what is needed to increase the acceptance of CCE in different fields/indications. Style: Mixture of a pre-discussion per working group (prepare overview about current situation, evidence and barriers, if possible per country), presentations and workshops / discussions during the meeting.
