2 FabriTec Structures and Guard-All Building Solutions partner with PFEIFER s business unit, Cable Structures, and its subsidiary Covertex We are delighted to announce that PFEIFER Seilund Hebetechnik GmbH, with its business unit, Cable Structures, the world leader in the design, manufacturing and construction of architectural cable structures has acquired an ownership interest in the Dallas, Texas based FabriTec Structures and Guard- All Building Solutions. Last year, German-based PFEIFER acquired the Shanghai-based Covertex, an industry leader in PTFE, PVC and ETFE membrane manufacturing and in March 2016 acquired Austrian-based ErneuEner- Plus (now PFEIFER Systems), a specialist in retractable and movable structures. By combining these new acquisitions, PFEIFER, with its rich history and enduring 400-year-long reputation, is creating a global organization with unparalleled technical and commercial experience and manufacturing resources. PFEIFER now becomes the most integrated light weight structure specialist in the world. These new alliances will further enhance PFEIFER Group s capabilities to undertake large iconic projects around the world. 2

3 Key Points The merged PFEIFER Group of Companies will have about 1,400 employees operating out of 20 different countries. The companies management in the new partnership will remain with Mr. Basil Haymann as the Chairman of FabriTec with Mr. Garry Becker as President and Mrs. Dot Haymann will remain the Chairman of Guard-All with Mr. Peter Bielefeld as President. The North American head office will remain in Dallas- Texas with satellite offices in Buffalo-NY, Tustin-CA, Saskatoon-Saskatchewan-Canada, Toronto-Ontario- Canada and an office servicing Latin & South America in Guadalajara-Mexico. PFEIFER s business unit, Cable Structures, with its head office in Memmingen-Germany, now has its presence all over the world with offices in Shanghai- China, Singapore-Malaysia, Doha-Qatar, Satteins- Austria and the new organization in North America. 3
