2 Pray for the Yazidis Praise God that the Yazidi people were safely rescued from Mount Sinjar in Northern Iraq! Pray for these internally displaced people, as they have lost their homes and their daily way of living. Pray that God will bring peace to the Middle East. Praise God for the Yazidi people s openness to the Gospel in the refugee camps! Praise God that they now have access to Bibles and the Gospel through the presence of local believers and volunteers! Praise God that The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada is intentionally sending and relocating international workers to the Yazidi people! Praise God that He has chosen us to fill this need in His Kingdom! Pray for a couple of our workers and others as they consider refocusing their ministries and lives to share the love of Jesus to the Yazidi people. Pray for discernment and wisdom as they seek God s direction in ministering to this neglected and persecuted people group. Pray for a young couple and others who are called to the Middle East, as they seek God to discern the call on their lives. Pray for more people to be called to long-term service in this turbulent region of the world. Please pray for Marwan and Inge as they lead short-term teams into Northern Iraq to minister among the Yazidis, to help strengthen and encourage our Alliance Churches, and to minister to and love on our pastors in our Alliance Churches in Northern Iraq. Pray against the strongholds that have territory in the land and among the people. Pray that the stronghold of Zoroastrianism will be broken by the name of Jesus being pronounced by the Yazidi people.

3 Pray for Pastor Malath of Alliance International Church in Erbil, Iraq, and for Pastor Samir of Dohuk Alliance Church as they lead churches that have received a significant number of internally displaced people from Mosul, and as they minister to refugees. Pray for volunteer medical teams that are serving the Yazidi people in refugee camps. Pray for the discipleship of the young people, and that they will rise up to be leaders alongside Pastor Malath and Pastor Samir. Pray for boldness for the believers, and that the Middle East will be known as a region that sends people thers to share the Gospel. Pray that the needed supplies and medicine will be transported safely, and that God will protect the medical volunteers as they travel to and from the camp. Pray for peace in the Middle East. Pray that God will continue to build His Church amidst the persecution from ISIS.

4 Pray for the Wolof Pray for Gary and Sharon Howell as they move their lives and ministry to Senegal to assess the needs of the country and the Wolof people. Pray for them as they learn Wolof, the trade language. Pray also for Owen Sound Alliance Church as they become more involved with the Howells in this focus on a new leastreached people group. Pray that the Wolof people will open their hearts to the Gospel. Pray that they will not be aggressive towards the Howells or any other international worker from other agencies. Pray that the Good News will transform the hearts of the people and the nation. Pray that the tension line between Islam and Christian territory will move north to traditionally Islamic land. Pray that the stronghold of Islam will be broken by the name of Jesus being pronounced by the Wolof people. Praise God that The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada is intentionally sending and relocating international workers to the Wolof people! Praise God that He has chosen us to fill this need in His Kingdom! Pray that a Wolof church will emerge from a growing amount of believers, and that the Wolof people will become known as a sending group.

5 Praise God for the obedience of the Desert Sand leadership, the Howells, and future international workers to this people group! Pray that God will use their sacrifice and work to produce fruit, whether that is now or in the future. Pray for faith for current and future international workers. Praise God for this opportunity to freely enter Senegal to focus on reaching the Wolof people! Pray that this freedom will be maintained so that more international workers can easily enter the country. Praise God for a new opportunity to breathe the life-giving power of the Gospel to a country that has been described as a graveyard of missions. Pray that this moment in time will begin a turning point in Senegal s history.

6 Pray for the Fulani Pray for Gary and Sharon Howell as they move their lives and ministry to Senegal to assess the needs of the Fulani people in this country.

7 Pray that Fulani believers from other countries will be called to share the Gospel with their people group in other African countries. Pray that the Fulani church will grow and be an influencer for the Kingdom across the continent and around the world. Praise God for the international workers already working with the Fulani people in other countries, such as Niger and Guinea. Pray that God will call more workers to serve this people group in the various countries they are found. Pray against the idea among the Fulani that you cannot be a Christian and retain your ethnic identity. Pray that they will understand that the most important identity to have is to be a child of God. Pray that Fulani believers will become a group big enough to have a peaceful influence over the countries in which they reside. Pray for a shift of religions in this people group.
