1 Reality Store is an active, real life simulation program for our 8th grade students. They will have the opportunity to explore career choices and make lifestyle and budget decisions similar to those adults face on a daily basis. The YSC, 4-H, and BGJHS Counseling Department will sponsor this event on Thursday, March 24, but we need parent volunteers! Unit 12: Foreign Affairs in a Young Nation - This unit involves five presidents' views on foreign policy, isolationism/neutrality, the XYZ Affair, buying the Louisiana Purchase from France, piracy, the Embargo Act, Native American troubles, the War of 1812, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago, and the Monroe Doctrine.
