If you want to change small things in your programme you need the approval of the Board of Examiners in advance (!). To apply for acceptance of exceptions to the regular programme, a request should be submitted to the Board of Examiners. It may be wise to consult the Academic counsellor in advance. TG annually organises a lot of activities, which vary from excursions, readings and symposia, to a freshman s weekend and company days. They also monitor the quality and content of the education. To experience faculty life at the fullest, join TG. TG also sells books to students at reduced prices. Students, instructors and staff use blackboard for almost all communication for their courses. There is a blackboard page for every course, but also for the organisation master of Chemical. Contact the programme coordinator if you do not have access to the Chemical blackboard organisation. Digital study guide and course descriptions studyguide.tudelft.nl In the digital study guide you can find programme details, courses and course details related to your study programme. For individual timetables see My Timetable in the Blackboard tab MyStudentinfo. Regulations The regulations handle all possible issues concerning education and examinations. All rights and obligations of both students and teachers are explained in detail. The Teaching & Examination Regulations and the Implementation Regulations are established by the Board of studies. The Board of Examiners establishes the Rules and Guidelines regarding examinations. Please look at the web page for an overview and the archive of all regulations. In the Rules and Guidelines you will find the pass/fail regulations, the meaning of the marks, and the conditions for the predicate with distinction.

4 Register for examinations blackboard.tudelft.nl -> Osiris Written examinations require registration! You have to register using Osiris which can be found on blackboard. Students are required to register for written examinations in the examination registration system no later than calendar days (not working days) before the exam. Prior to a third (or subsequent) examination attempt the instructor is allowed to oblige the student to consult the instructor in order to obtain educational advice and help for thorough preparation. Results and progress blackboard.tudelft.nl -> Osiris Using your Net-ID, Osiris provides you with results for examinations and an overview of your academic progress. If this overview is not correct, please inform the administration, osa-tnw@tudelft.nl. During your course, you will find that the Virtual Knowledge Centre (VKC) of your programme will come in very useful i.e. molecular The VKC is the ideal place to start when looking for information in your field, as it provides virtually all knowledge in your field. Learn more about other VKC at vkc.library.tudelft.nl. Study programme The Chemical programme is a two-year programme and comprises 0. There is a choice of three research tracks: Molecular, Nuclear Science and, Process. The core programme of each track comprises 0, and is the same for each student: Obligatory core modules ( ), Obligatory track modules ( ), Obligatory design modules (0 ), Master thesis project (0 ). Combining the core programme with a 0 Scientific and Social Orientation (elective part) completes the master programme. The student may opt for: Research and Development (Industrial Internship plus elective courses), Study Abroad (Project and/or courses at a foreign University), Education (become a teacher at a Dutch secondary school), Entrepreneurship (start your own company), Management of Technology (one semester of the MoT MSc programme), Technology in Sustainable Development (Internship plus selected electives).
