Upon the filing of a petition signed by the conservator or personal representative under oath or before a notary and also signed by attorney (See Local Court Rule 72.2, Item g, Re: Verified Documents and Affidavits.), the court MAY issue an Order of No Further Process to close a conservatorship (but not a guardianship) or a decedent s estate IF: There are no assets of any kind remaining in the estate. There is no income. The only asset remaining in an estate is a court approved prepaid funeral/burial plan. All assets have been deposited in restricted accounts.
