3 Highlights of BA Convention 04 There were two highlights of this year's BA Convention, which made this event different and much valuable to all the stakeholders:. We had first of its kind Joint Keynote covering a client and a partner's point of view on the criticality of Business Analysis role.. First part of the Joint Keynote delivered by Mr. Ramnath Venkataraman, Managing Director, addressed the role of Business Analyst in Digital Age, which was extremely well received by the attendees Second part of the Joint Keynote delivered by Mr. Narender Pasupuleti, IT Manager, Caterpillar stressed upon their Business and Technology strategy and how Caterpillar sees the value and importance of Business Analysis in their organizational success The other key highlight of this year's convention was the launch of Analyst Report for the academic research planned by IIBA in India. The objective of this research was to access the Industry-Academia gap and present the roadmap of transformation along with the roles and responsibilities of every stakeholder including corporate, academia, global standards bodies like IIBA as well as policy makers. This research covering 7 B-Schools pan India was envisioned by IIBA, funded by Cognizant and conducted by Offshore Insights under the supervision of India's eminent analyst Mr. Sudin Apte. Key takeaways from BA Convention 04 Second edition of BA Convention followed the theme of BA's role in the context of Social, Big Data, Mobility, Cloud and Agile.
