11 Supplier Networking Event (ARBA) Access Roads and Bridges in Albania Tender In July 2014, TAP invited pre-qualified companies to tender for the repair, improvement and construction of roads and bridges in Albania in connection with the TAP project Contractors have been asked to submit their tenders by 30 th October. The contract is expected to be awarded in early 2015, after which works are expected to begin. The Scope of Work for this contract comprises the following: Roads Total length to be built/rehabilitated: approx. 101 km 22 roads (12 upgraded, 10 new constructions) + optional Finishing: gravel on top; 2 asphalted

14 Supplier Networking Event (ARBA) Today s networking event Generally main contractors will carry out core activities and subcontract essential, specialist support services, materials supply, logistics, etc. Where these goods/services are available or can be sourced locally, they can provide cost effective solutions and make for more competitive and efficient delivery Examples include the following: Construction services Camp facility management and maintenance services Asphalt and concrete supply Construction consumables and materials like shuttering Catering and security services, etc. Maintenance services for construction equipment Etc.

The purpose of the event is to provide a forum where companies can come together and explore opportunities for collaboration in connection to TAP s Access Roads and Bridges Contract.
