Home Cleaning: Essential Oils for a Chemical and Toxic Free Environment Often we don t realize the constant exposure to harsh chemicals in our everyday life. These toxins are present in homes, offices, schools, stores and more. And we don t always recognize their detrimental effects on our health or we don t make the connection between skin conditions, respiratory conditions, and the exposure. Removing chemicals and toxins from your home environment is critical. We need to protect ourselves from most common household cleaners. You certainly don t want to be breathing in the toxic fumes or absorbing the chemicals through your skin as you clean or in your daily life. In fact, you want to be protecting and enhancing your health while doing so! In fact, did you know that you could be supporting your immune system and enhancing your mood while cleaning with essential oils?! Try these effective cleaning remedies and experience it for yourself. Disclaimer: The information shared in intended for educational purposes only. Lemon oil is a great de-greaser. Combine these ingredients into a glass jar. Label the jar "Fairy Dust." Let the kids sprinkle the Fairy Dust over the carpets before you vacuum! You ll all be amazed how wonderful the fairies make your house smell! Lavender is very calming, so you may notice your kids and pets acting calmer than normally after using this fairy dust! Mattress Freshener Sheets & Bedding Spray 1 cup pure baking soda 6 drops Purification essential oil 4-5 drops Purification 4-5 drops LemongrassWater Combine the baking soda and essential oil of your choice. They will remove the odors and leave your towels smelling like new! Purification and Thieves work well on stinky hockey and sports gear, too! Put the oils on the washcloth and throw it into the dryer with your wet clothes. When you remove your dry clothes, they will smell amazing. Dryer sheets are toxic and irritating. Essential oils will get rid of static cling, make your clothes smell amazing, without harmful side effects. Melaleuca (tea tree) is known for its cleansing and purifying qualities. In the morning, you ll be able to wipe the pot clean without a lot of elbow grease! Oven cleaners are one of the most toxic cleaners on the market. Especially when you add the element of heat to the cleaning process. This method will clean your oven and smell great! Lemon works great for cleaning wooden or plastic cutting boards!
Stinky Garbage Pail Solution Crayon and Gum Eraser 1 cotton ball 2 drops Purification essential oil blend Crayon marks on wall or gum stuck in carpet 2-5 drops Lemon essential oil Put the Purification on the cotton ball and place in the bottom of your trash can to take away nasty odors! Purification is powerful enough to get rid of mildew, cigarette smoke, and skunk smell! Just put 5-8 drops in your diffuser and your air will smell fresh again very soon! Simply drop the lemon oil on the crayon or gum problem spot and let it sit for a while. Then go back and rub the area clean with a wet washcloth! Lemon oil also removes oil and grease spots! Hot tub Freshener Sauna Freshener Geranium essential oil After everyone gets out of the hot tub, put 1 drop of Geranium per person into the hot tub. This will freshen the water. Geranium is the perfect addition to your hot tub! 3 drops Lavender 3 drops Rosemary Spray bottle full of distilled water Add essential oils to spray bottle and spray all sauna surfaces. This water can also be sprayed or splashed on to hot sauna stones. Rosemary will clean your sauna surfaces!
Ant Repellant 1 quart spray bottle filled 7/8 with water 15 drops Purification essential oil blend 10 drops Peppermint essential oil Add essential oils to the water-filled spray bottle. Shake well! Spray on any areas where ants are entering the house. You can spray around the entire perimeter of the house if you d like. This ant repellant is not only effective, but non-toxic as well! It s safe to use around children and dogs. Mice Repellant 3-4 drops peppermint Cotton ball Put the Peppermint oil on the cotton ball and set it in the corner or cabinet shelf where the mice or mice droppings have been spotted. Replace daily to keep the peppermint smell strong. Mice and pests do not like the smell of peppermint! You may just notice your energy levels get boosted, your nasal congestion goes away, and your headache gets better, too!
WHERE TO PURCHASE Stress Relieving Bath Salts Young Living Oils can be purchased through your Young Living distributor. Please contact the person that provided you this e-book. WHY WE ONLY RECOMMEND YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS When choosing the essential oils to use, it is EXTREMELY important to consider quality! Unfortunately, most essential oils (even those found in health food stores) may be synthetic, adulterated, or diluted, and can actually be toxic to us. Essential oils can be labeled as Pure essential oil, even if they contain as little as 5% essential oil. The remaining 95% can be synthetics or other toxic materials. This is why you ONLY want to diffuse, apply topically, or ingest essential oils that you KNOW are genuine therapuetic-grade essential oils. Young Living is a great choice, as they set the standard for purity and authenticity. Young Living is a 20-year old company that is recognized as the world leader in essential oils and wellness solutions. They carefully monitor the production of their oils from beginning to end through their unique Seed to Seal process, ensuring the purity of each essential oil and protecting nature s living energy in every bottle. For more than two decades, Young Living has diligently overseen every step of this process, both on their own global farms and with their carefully vetted partner farms. This unsurpassed commitment to quality means that you can be confident that the Young Living essential oils and oil-infused products you use in your home are safe and effective.
Young Living Seed to Seal Process Seed Powerful, effective essential oils come from seeds and plants that are verified for their essential oil potential by Young Living experts, partnering with university experts. Cultivate Young Living farms, located around the globe, are dedicated to perfecting the best growing and harvesting methods. Young Living experts travel the world visiting their co-op farms to verify that their growing and cultivating processes match their high standards. These operations provide an ongoing source for essential oils that meet Young Living s demanding quality standards. Distill Combining ancient and modern techniques, Young Living is recognized as an innovator in essential oil distillation. Young Living uses a gentle, proprietary technique for steam extracting the most effective essential oils, as well as using cold pressing and resin tapping methods for select oils. Test Young Living never accepts diluted, cut, or adulterated oils. To guarantee consistent quality, their oils are tested in Young Living s own internal labs, as well as in third-party facilities, to ensure that they meet stringent specifications, exceed international standards, and contain the optimal levels of natural bioactive compounds. Seal Young Living completes the Seed to Seal process in its 107,000-square-foot facility in Spanish Fork, Utah. Using state-of-the-art equipment, each essential oil is carefully bottled into protective amber glass bottles ready to be shipped to members worldwide.
