4 MADRID - MARRAKECH 2016 ITINERARY DAY 1 DAY 2 DAY 3 MADRID Arrive at any time MADRID/BARCELONA Enjoy a short orientation walk around Madrid with a free day to explore. Opt to check out the world-famous museums, do some shopping or enjoy some fantastic food. In the evening, catch a train to Barcelona. BARCELONA Spend the day exploring this vibrant city. Opt to visit Gaudí s Parc Güell, the Sagrada Familia, and other Gaudí masterpieces. Montjuïc and Barceloneta are worth a visit, too. DAY 4 BARCELONA/GRANADA Spend another morning exploring the city before an afternoon train to Granada.

5 DAY 5 GRANADA Arrive in the morning and head out to visit the famous Alhambra. In the evening, opt to go for a stroll and check out the local tapas and wine bars. DAY 6 GRANADA Spend another day exploring this charming city. DAY 7 GRANADA/SEVILLE Take a morning train to nearby Seville. Spend a day enjoying this city and its Moorish influence. Opt to explore the district of Santa Cruz, the Alcázar Palace or the world's largest Gothic cathedral. DAY 8 SEVILLE/CHEFCHAOUEN It's a full day of travel to reach the mysterious blue village high in the Rif Mountains. Cross from Europe to Africa by ferry then continue on travelling to Chefchaouen. DAY 9 CHEFCHAOUEN/FÈS Travel to the imperial city of Meknes and enjoy lunch at the G Adventures-supported women's project. Later, continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before continuing on to Fes.

6 DAY 10 DAY 11 FÈS Explore the labyrinth of streets within the famous Fès medina with a local guide. Marvel at one of the ancient tanneries and take in the view from above. FÈS/CASABLANCA Travel by train to seaside Casablanca known for its colonial and art-deco buildings DAY 12 DAY 13 DAY 14 CASABLANCA/MARRAKECH Visit the spectacular Hassan II mosque and learn more about this masterpiece. Catch the train to Marrakech in time to start exploring the city. MARRAKECH Enjoy a medina tour with a certified city guide. Opt to visit Djemaa el Fna Square in the evening to see the gathering of musicians and street performers MARRAKECH Depart at any time.
