2 In a stream of global architecture, to make a base of Korean architecture through more wide global interchange, Korean Institute of Architects(KIA) hold 100 Architects of the year 2016 by magnifying the existing traditional Korean national architectural festival invited architect exhibition as UIA certificate global exhibition by firstly. It will be a place where you can see the architectural philosophy of architects around the world in the contemporary architecture trend and through this, architectural culture will be shared with the public. Furthermore, we expect it to be a cornerstone for the successful holding of the great event, UIA 2017 Seoul World architecture Congress. 1. Qualification All foreign architects participating need to acquire the official recommendation from their national architect institute recognized by UIA. 3. Registration Complete and sign the attached Application form and submit a single PDF file to 100architects@kia.or.kr Registration FEE : 200 USD (Registration fee to be paid by Paypal Invoice) After the Application Form is received, a Paypal invoice will be sent by . *Registration fee is used as exhibition space rental and production(book, Certificate, Panel) costs. 5. SUBMISSION Built architectural design projects completed within the past three years or un-built design works done within the past three years can be submitted for review. Below Seven items to be uploaded to 100 Architects Webhard within a folder with the Architect's name by September 13, ) Display Panel : 600x1800mm exhibition panel (300dpi, jpeg refer to following example) 2) Description: Words in English 3) Selected drawing: 3 4 drawings among plans, elevations, sections (including scale bar, the cardinal points, *.eps or *.ai format) 4) Diagram or Sketch: high resolution (300 dpi, *.jpg format) 5) Photograph: high resolution (300 dpi, *.jpg format) with copyright holder s name 6) The Architect s portrait (*.jpg format) 7) ) Membership Proof(A copy of the participant's membership proof document issued by his or her country's UIA member section is needed to confirm the participant s eligibility) *100 Architects Webhard Information ID: 100architects Password: 2016 Log in>upload only >New Folder >Folder Name create : Architect s Name> File Upload * The Official Languages : English * Submitted Drawing Panel will be printed and installed by the exhibition preparation committee. * Submitted Item(no.2~6) will be making the Exhibition Book.

Miscellaneous - A participant living outside South Korea is expected to submit only a panel image file (Those who would like to submit their models for the exhibition are required to pay the door to door shipping cost to and from South Korea) - Questions related to the International Exhibition need to be addressed to 100architects@kia.or.kr - All the exhibited works will be included in the booklet which can be purchased after the exhibition. - The exhibition certificates, book & photo(digital file) will be delivered to all the participants. - Exhibition results are published in the SPACE magazine - Architects Information displayed at the bottom works(panel) - All the submitted works will be exhibited and the exhibition certificates will be issued to all the participants regardless of the selection results - The registration cancellation and the registration fee refund are allowed before the selection of 100 works. - The submitted contents will be used for the exhibition books, CDs, etc. to promote "100 architects of the year" only. - Any changes might occur will be noticed on the exhibition web page. tel: architects@kia.or.kr

6 100 Architects of the Year 2016 INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION COPYRIGHT AND PERMISSIONS CONSENT FORM COPYRIGHT AND PERMISSIONS Terms and Conditions The one who summit to the 100 Architects of the Year 2016 International Exhibition (hereafter, ENTRANT ) must be the author and own all rights to the images submitted, submission of the image must not infringe the rights of any other party. The ENTRANT holds the legal responsibility for ensuring that the entered images comply with these ownership and copyright requirements. By entering to the exhibition, the ENTRANT grants the KIA and the UIA a non-exclusive irrevocable license to reproduce, publish and communicate to the public by any means and exhibit all the materials in the entry submitted including but not limited to document and image(s) and their copies in all media throughout the world and only in relation to the Exhibition.
