Examples of these types of materials include sharps (needles), broken glass, noxious material, human waste and other material that could cause personal injury or pose a health or safety threat. When this type of material is received from a customer location they will be contacted and informed of the non-conformance, advised of the correct procedures for handling the non-conformance and made aware that the EH&S surcharge will be applied.
