5 North Lindsey College offers a huge range of full and part-time courses, which includes A-Levels, vocational qualifications or a combination of both. With over 4000 students aged years, 1000 adult learners, 750 apprentices and 1000 higher education learners, the College offers a broad range of provision aimed at ensuring we are the local Gateway to Employment and Higher Education. In practice this includes students progressing from College into employment and into apprenticeships, as well as into further and higher education to prepare them for employment at a later stage. North Lindsey College works with more than 600 employers every year and worked with over 700 employees in to support the development of skills, knowledge and qualifications aimed at supporting the sustainability and growth of local employers. Kingsway Consulting is a subsidiary of the College and provides training and development to over 800 employees a year. With industry experience the tutors work with employers across a range of sectors providing training, support, qualifications and industry qualifications to meet employers needs. 16 Careers Guidance The qualified College careers guidance team offer impartial information, advice and guidance to anyone considering studying at North Lindsey College. Our team provide advice and guidance to adults and school leavers. Adults are able to ask for a careers interview to help them decide their course choices. Local schools are allocated a member of the College guidance team. A careers adviser will attend school parents evenings, careers events and be available in school to offer individual appointments to every year 11 pupil. Please ask in school for an appointment to find out about programmes and discuss your options. If you can t make up your mind, you can apply for a few different courses and decide at a later date. 17 Adult Community Learning Adult Community Learning provides daytime and evening courses across North Lincolnshire. We also offer bespoke training services to local employers and businesses. We believe learning is at the heart of a successful and thriving community.
